Genuine, Honest and Class act tradesmen
We hired Black Bear Trades to renovate our entire 1st floor (1300 sf). This included knocking down a wall, a brand new larger kitchen, main floor powder room, hardwood floors throughout and 12 foot eclipse sliding patio doors.
The GC, head carpenter and their team of tradesmen were a pleasure to work with in every aspect; from daily check ins and updates on timelines to genuine suggestions and honest responses. We felt as though their team were treating the project like it was their own home, knowing exactly where it made sense to curve the costs and where to reallocate those funds. The quality finishes and attention to detail was impeccable, we never had to ask for something to be done properly, it was a given that every area was finished perfectly. The tradesmen were also very flexible and happy to address other issues in our home (electrical, painting) when on site. With that in mind we did have a lot of scope creep, and ended up working in many other household projects into the 1st floor renovation budget :-)
Overall we are extremely pleased with the finished product and enjoy the new space each and every day, only wish is that we had done it sooner!
