I got a crazy estimate from a garage door repair company in Toronto to replace two broken torsion springs, $1600. That's right SIXTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS! Steve from Mega Garage Door came and did the job for $500. And, they through in a new torsion bar. Same day response. Next day installation. When they first came out to look at the door, the tech let me know I could call the manufacturer and get a replacement part for free. He even gave me the phone number. Once the new part came in, they came and installed it. I feel like they went out of their way to save me money!
