CERTIFIED PAVING

Abe and Mike at Certified and their teams were a pleasure to work with. I had a horrible mud pit of a backyard turned into a classy Esplanade. I found the overall experience to be one of the best for a contractor for any type I used. Mike and Abd are very personable and easy to work with. I noticed right away that when contacting them either by phone or text I received very fast responses and clear explanations for any questions I had. I found the workmanship to be excellent and each section of the job explained clearly in the contract as well. To me there were no surprises in costing, I selected slightly more expensive stones from the baseline, but we knew that would increase the price a bit. I found that the work was completed in the timeframe we were quoted and considering Covid restrictions and possible delays this was impressive. I found the workers that came very focused and professional, especially the Stoneworkers. There were 2 times they were able to come early to complete a portion on short notice, but I won’t complain if someone shows up early. My complete job consisted of a clean out of older material, a French drain installation, 2/3 patio stones, 1/3 sod and 2 rock steps by the entrance. What I was also happy with was the 20 year old wood fence was moved for the job and put back and it did not need to be replaced. It remained intact, which considering its shape was surprising. I also used this contractor after interviewing 3 others but I have never used them before (recommendations from a focus group on Facebook for my neighborhood), so as you can imagine I was a little nervous of trying someone new. I am sure glad I did. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys, in fact I have already recommended them to 2 other people. I will also add here I was not given a discount, paid anything in any form to do this review. I just believe in giving credit to a company when things are done right.
