Unique Flooring GTA

We chose Unique Flooring to replace the flooring in our condo because of the excellent reviews on HomeStars, and we were very pleased! Monika and Gabor were very helpful throughout the whole process, including showing us many laminate flooring options and colours, then helping us narrow down to our final decision. They also serve really great coffee in their showroom! They even let us take samples home with us to see how they would look on our floors under our lighting.

In the end, we were very happy with the product and installation. They did the work in two days starting and ending exactly when promised. They also worked around some of our more difficult to move furniture, and the appliances, then cleaned up well at the end of it all. Now the floors look amazing what an upgrade from before!

They were familiar with working in condos and happy to accommodate our condos rules such as having a specific rating for the underlay, using the freight elevator during specified booked times, working during specified hours, taking the old flooring offsite for disposal, etc. They also accommodated the process of renovation pre-approval including providing an underlay sample for the management office and providing copies of certain documents (e.g. proof of insurance and WSIB).

The project seemed fairly daunting at first but their expertise, knowledge and responsiveness helped us get through it all and end up with great results!

Monica at the front desk was always responsive and knowledgeable and willing to spend time hauling out heavy sample planks for me to look at. In addition, she offered me delicious coffee from the machines the company sells! When other companies told me to pick up samples from the manufacturer, Monica arranged for one container of planks to be delivered to Unique Flooring. After I had seen how the planks looked on the floor, she returned them to the manufacturer without any cost to me.
Floor layers Csaba and Enis did an efficient, speedy, and professional job of replacing my upstairs and family room carpets with Fuzion engineered hardwood. Csaba was always politely efficient, showing skills that come from experience. Enis, the young self-proclaimed sanding master, had an engaging client interaction manner, and was refreshingly proud of his work. Gabor, the personable owner, came to our home to check out progress as the flooring was being laid.
I recommend this company with no reservations.

I contacted Unique Flooring to replace my kitchen tile. I had 4 very large cracked tiles. Because I did not want too much disruption/demolition, I wanted a luxury vinyl tile installed on top of the existing ceramic floor. Gabor came and did the measurements and spoke of the scope of the job and explained the process. Monika, at the showroom, showed me various tile options. I was able to see my selected options at home in my space. Finally, Csaba came and did the installation. I am very happy with the service and installation. I hired them again to do the same at my garage entryway tiled floor. I definitely recommend Unique Flooring. I have attached before and after pictures.

We have a 100+ year old home that we are renovating. We installed hardwood with another installer that ended up being un-level. Unique Flooring assessed the situation, practically approached what could be done (balancing cost and benefit) and proposed taking up select sections of hardwood, levelling the floor and installing new hardwood. We then sanded and stained the entire area, trying to match the stain in another room of our home. Unique Flooring was detail oriented, careful and patient in its approach and the result was excellent. We would definitely use Unique Flooring again and we customers w high expectations !

We recently had Unique Flooring install Luxury vinyl planks throughout our entire house and couldn't be happier with the results. Gabor, Monika and the entire team did a fantastic job right from the start of the project to the end. Our questions were answered promptly and we appreciated the daily end of day calls to provide us with updates and to address any of our concerns.
