Worst service, disappeared with money and the part

Moving & Storage review in Calgary

Called them for repairing my fridge, technician came up next day, dissembled the fridge, removed a part and took with him saying it needed to be replaced. Charged me 300CAD for the service. After that stopped answering the calls and texts. Tried for 15 days and gave up. He disappeared with my money and the part and never showed up. Please do your research and hire at own risk

Great customer service, skilled technicians

I was referred to First Responders Appliance Repair from my neighbour. Many in this community have used their and said "they can fix darn near anything!" Called last Thursday, the service tech called when on his way Friday morning. He came in and gave me an honest assessment of my dishwasher problem, as well as options so I could decide whether to replace or repair based on possible replacement part costs. While he was here, I asked him to look at my refrigerator. It hasn't made ice in 8 years. Within less than 10 minutes, he had it cleaned up and it is now making ice! I will definitely use their service again if I have any appliance issues. Professional, courteous and conscientious!
