Killam | Wylde

We hired Killam Wylde to complete a reno of the primary bathroom, powder room and entryway in our 100 year old home and we are absolutely thrilled with the results! The primary bathroom was gutted and completely refinished (new window, tub, vanity, toilet, lighting, etc.). Within the powder room and entry way a new subfloor, tile, lighting and HVAC work were completed, a doorway was increased, and trim was replaced.

All of the finishing and fixtures were sourced by Tobie (Killiam Wylde). Finding items that were stylish and in stock was a challenge in the middle of a pandemic, but Tobie worked with multiple suppliers to find in stock options for us to choose from. Tobie made the process of sourcing and deciding materials/fixtures easy by providing options without overwhelming us. The result of the design is exactly what we wanted. Tobie also communicated with us regularly on status, etc. and the invoice we received was very detailed and accurate.

Vic’s (Killiam Wylde) craftmanship is exceptional. Vic completed the renovation work very promptly and was extremely detail oriented throughout the entire process. Vic was always on time to the job and let me know any challenges that he ran into (while opening walls in our 100 year old house) as well as options and solutions to still work toward our end goal in the space. Vic also went out of his way to do try to match the new trim in our home to our 100 year old trim – this was a feat in and of itself.

Working with Toby and Vic was a great experience. I plan to bring them back for additional work on our home in the future. I would absolutely recommend Killam Wylde to anyone looking for a contractor/designer team without hesitation.
