Zlate and his team renovated our condo kitchen and replaced the floating engineered throughout the condo. A project of this scope and size was daunting, but the team's confidence and expertise made this a great experience for us. He adapted incredibly well to changes in plans when we hit supply issues and other unexpected hiccups (e.g., condo plumbing). He not only problem solved to find alternative solutions but also accommodated requirements to involve condo boards and contractors as well. His planning and meticulousness meant that our project was completed with minimal delays and disruption. His suggestions made our ideas a practical reality.

There are few contractors I trust to handle large projects, but Zlate is surely at the top of my list. He oversees the project from start to finish, checks in at transition points in the project, and follows up after the work has been completed to ensure that we were satisfied and there were no outstanding tasks. His communication surpassed my expectations and he made sure that everyone was on the same page for each stage of the project.

Great experience working with Zlate and his team who renovated our condo kitchen. Saying the word condo scares off a lot of contractors, but Zlate made sure the process went very smoothly by expertly sequencing the sub-contractors to minimize delays and disruptions. When our countertop manufacturer pulled out due to supply issues at the last minute before the work was to begin, Zlate managed to locate an alternative supplier at reasonable price despite all the Covid related supply issues. He dealt with other unexpected issues that came up due to piping behind the walls, etc., in the same manner by getting the sub-contractors attend to them really quickly.

Zlate is one of the very few contractors that I have met or worked with that is very easy to communicate with in terms of actively listening to the questions and concerns to come up with good solutions.
