Golden Star did our interlock. They kept us updated throughout the entire project and helped us pick fixture choices that were in stock to avoid delays. Jessie went above and beyond to have our renovation meet our expectations.

We had a fantastic experience working with Goldenstar to renovate our large master bathroom! Jessie was extremely responsive and helped us think through all of the options available. The work included ripping out nearly everything in the master bathroom, tiling the whole floor and all of the shower walls, installing new water fixtures, a new vanity countertop, a new toilet, and painting the whole room. We were very impressed with the pace and quality of the work, and they were happy to quickly correct any little things we noticed along the way. We are thrilled with how our bathroom turned out; it is night and day compared to how it was before.

They also installed a tiled kitchen backsplash; this makes our whole kitchen look so much nicer, and we are very happy with the quality of the work around our cabinets, windows, and appliances.

We would certainly use Golden Star for future home projects. Thanks again to Jessie and everyone else for their efforts!

I am so glad I found Golden Star. It is very hard to find good, reliable people to hire to do home repairs and remodelling and do good work for a reasonable price. Not only are they very professional and reasonable, but they are also very skilled, personable, and trustworthy, as is her installation team. I have had some small home repairs to a pretty large flooring installation job done by Goldenstar, along with a custom cut-to-fit vanity done by them that turned out beautiful! I was looking at the daunting task of my backyard hardscape and as I began collecting quotes it was even more obvious that this was not a task to simply DYI. As a homeowner it is often difficult to find a company that you can trust to come work on your home, pretty much anyone you know can tell you about a horror story. I am glad I was able to find Josie, Charlie and their team. Communications were prompt and smooth, the team was able to truly consult with you on your project with your vision and best interest in mind, and the team was also extremely respectful and courteous when working on the grounds. They went above my expectations on this project, and it has already received plenty of compliments. I would not hesitate to recommend this team to anyone.

Our backyard was a mess of weeds and such GSS had the fastest turnaround and best price for our project! Jessie was responsive and easy to get a hold of. Her crew worked fast and cleaned up each day. They even finished our project three days ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend.

We used Jessie's crew at Golden Star to extend our home 350 sf. The job was to extend our kitchen and add a new bathroom. The crew was clean and professional. The space looks great. I can say they are the best contractors in the York Region.

This is the third time I've hired Jessie and her team, and once again, their attention to detail was superb. I needed to extend my patio with interlocking pavers, and from soil removal to paver installation and finishing, they did an excellent job. We made the right decision to use Goldenstar Renovation to redo the interlock (correct another landscaper's mistakes) in our front yard and extend our driveway. The contractors were friendly, polite, punctual, and respectful of our needs. They do not rush their work, and this shows in the quality of the final product! I was always kept updated on the progress and was explained what they were doing each day. Everything was planned carefully with great attention to detail. From start to finish, I was nothing but impressed; the whole construction exceeded our expectations! The finished job significantly enhanced the curb appeal, and we have received many compliments from our neighbors.

We hired Golden Star Renovation for this driveway paving project. They were very professional; once the project began, the work was done efficiently, and the work site (inside and outside of our home) was left in meticulous condition each day. From the worst to the best driveway on our block and far beyond We waited way too long to finally make the decision to redo our driveway. After looking at many options, we were searching for a good paver contractor, and we were very lucky to find Goldenstar Home Renovation. With Jessie's help and creative design direction, we ended up with a four-paver size and four-colour blend to create a driveway that many that pass by call a work of art. We could not be more satisfied with the whole process. Even with my heavy truck, ours looks the same as the day they finished.
