Mike gave me a fair price. He even pitched in some "goodies" in the package that we negotiated down. Mike came with his dad and did a very satisfactory job by themselves, with very little oversight. Even gave me pointers on how to maintain the springs/cables/rollers in future for longevity. His warranty period is acceptable, and I found him to be an honest & fair businessman. Recommend his serivice highly.

Mike called 30 mins after I submitted a request. I asked Mike to come and check my 3 year old garage door as one cable had fallen off twice over the past few years. He came promptly and explained several issues with the door installation together with the (reasonable) cost to me to fix. Broken Spring. Replaced. Mike provided quick response / same day service. Easy to deal with. After confirming the problem - provided options and recommendations. Same day repairs. Went on to look at the rest of the setup and the other garage door and made good suggestions. Went out of his way to help fix the weather stripping at the bottom of the door. Will used Mike;s services again.

Backed into one of our garage doors one too many times. Badly damaged. Found Homestars and they came promptly, and repaired the door. But the doors are close to 40 years old and inferior construction. Homestars warned us that the hinges, etc. would not last much longer. We asked for an estimate on 2 new doors, and were delighted with the very reasonable price they gave us! Doors were installed today and we are thrilled with them. These two men are honest, open and very efficient workers. They never pushed us to replace the doors - just gave us the facts which we greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this business!
