A+ for patience from David the electrician that came out to install a timer switch at our place. The unit was defective from the manufacturer and David took the time to quickly get this swapped out and went through the programming and set up options with me as well.

Needed an external outlet on old house. Steven showed up on time, assessed the situation and got to work. He had to find a part I needed and called around to find one. Once found he drove to get it. Came back for all the work done. Walked around the house with me and we discussed a few other potential projects I’ve been thinking about. Steven was knowledgeable on all fronts. Will hire again.

While providing us with some routine maintenance on the electrical system of our new home, our A C Electrical electrician Hank discovered that the conduit carrying wires inside our house was cracked open and rainwater was pouring into the breaker box with every storm.

Hank and his team (and the very amazing Genelle in head office) took care of everything for us - the repair itself, securing permits, and coordinating with the city. Their care and attention resolved an unpleasant (and potentially quite dangerous) situation with minimal fuss.

We had some electrical work needed to instal a dishwasher. They responded quickly, and had someone at my house by the end of the day. The work was perfect, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Really appreciate that they were able to fit me in the same day, as we had a dishwasher half installed by the plumber but needed this surprise electrics work done before finishing the install. Highly recommended.

We have used AC Electrical in the past & have always been very happy with their work. Today was no exception. Hank was very knowledgeable,friendly & efficient. He arrived on time & quickly diagnosed the problem with several older light fixtures. Unfortunately he determined that the dimmer switches he had on hand were not compatible with my older fixtures so will be returning to replace them at a later date. We also had him install a whole home surge protector on our electrical panel which I purchased through them. Once I decide on a new bedroom fixture, I will be calling AC Electrical again to do the remaining work. I consider this company my go-to when I need an electrician.

The power was flickering on and off in my basement without tripping the breaker. I called this company to check it out to be in the same side. David took the time to show me the problem (electrical arching with a wire melting at the breaker). Naturally seeing the melted wire made me nervous and David took the time to explain what he believed caused the issue (poorly backstabbed receptacles and lose wiring at the breaker). He checked all the receptacles on the circuit and adjusted all of the back stabbed receptacles to a screw down setup. Really appreciated him talking the time to explain the problem and how he was fixing it. He went the extra mile by taking the time to make sure we felt safe. Thanks David. A very friendly technician came to replace four hard wired smoke detectors. He found that one smoke detector had been installed without proper power connection. Our technician fixed that quickly. He also fixed two light fixtures that were shot. Great work. Fast and friendly service!
