Mabda (Ben) is a someone you should avoid at all costs. He charged me $350+HST for fixing a sink at a condo I own. I trusted the work would be done and did not follow up to confirm. Buyer beware, the sink was not fixed at all! If he challenges this review, I have receipts showing what I paid, and pictures that show it was never fixed. Stay away!! The best/funniest part is, he flooded my toilet when he was there too just my luck! Read the reviews and don't waste your time. The good ones are probably fake.

I pre-paid $42O which was required to order the parts. The required parts were apparently available after 10 days. Then the technicians and the repair was confirmed for Monday April 8th at 2:30. They never showed up. No communication about why. This after many phone calls and texts. My recourse is unknown. They will not reply to my MANY attempts to call and connect. DO NOT hire this company. **UPDATE** Also their reply below was followed up to no avail. I called and messaged to let them know who posted the review. Nothing has happened.

GE appliances recommended Kirk to replace the glass stovetop on our induction oven. My wife paid for the work, by VISA, ($624.56) but when we were e-mailed the receipt, it was for $489.04. When contacted he stated the extra charge of $135.52 was for labour. When he was informed that the GE receipt for $489.04 included labour and all taxes he then changed his story and stated that "they" were having billing issues and "it would be adjusted this week". As expected, we never heard from him again and he won't return calls or e-mails. Avoid Smart-Tech Appliance Service - this individual has no moral compass and does not care about ripping-off seniors.

Was given a low range quote and a high range quote for a fairly simple job. He came and we found out the job wasn't possible. That was fine. What was less fine is that he still charged the high range quote. Edit: After the original review Ali reached out and refunded $45. There was some miscommunication but overall his service was good and I would recommend him.

purchased a fridge, stove, built-in oven, dryer, and dishwasher from Bills Appliances, all of which were delivered to my home on October 5th. When our contractor unboxed the fridge for installation on October 21st, we discovered that the size was wrong. I immediately went to the store to arrange an exchange for the correct size, and during my first visit, the staff clearly told me that an exchange was possible. Their website also states that returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. We had already agreed to pay a 20% restocking fee and cover the labor costs for uninstalling the fridge. However, when I returned the next day to process the exchange, you suddenly refused to honor the previous commitment. This kind of behavior is extremely irresponsible and shows a complete lack of integrity. I have to ask, does Bills Appliances policy mean that once the goods are out the door, they wash their hands of it? This level of service and attitude is utterly unacceptable. My trust in your company has been completely shattered, and for a company selling high-value appliances, this level of service is extremely disappointing. I strongly urge you to reconsider this situation, honor your commitments, and immediately take action to correct this highly unprofessional handling of the issue.
