Repair household appliance- 23 Aug 2026
Akash was the first to respond to our request. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, and repaired the fault on our dryer. He was systematic and explained what he was doing very clearly. The repair needed no materials so we were only charged for his labour. Akash has not been registered on Homestars for very long, but is well established in the Brampton area and is now seeking to expand his reach a bit further afield. I would use him again if need be and unhesitatingly recommend him to others.

Good service. Sukh took time diagnosing the issue with the air flow and identifying where the problem is and fixing. Will certainly reach out to Sukh for any further requirements. Very friendly and down to earth general contractor who knows his trade as well as takes time to explain things.

Nino and team set up my sprinkler system in 2020. I have to say it's been great! I'm always getting compliments how green and thick my lawn is, and my vegetables are so big because of my drip line! Team was professional and did a great job at the installation. I have multiple sprinkler zones (front lawn, side lawn, small strip by the driveway, back lawn); I have sprinklers also for the flower gardens; I have drip lines in my vegetable garden, cedar hedges, and trees behind my swimspa). Nino and son come every Spring to open the system, and in the Fall to winterize my system. Year 2 I had a hole in one garden line, which they cutaway and added a replacement piece, all within the warranty. I would totally recommend a sprinkler system and would recommend Riverstone Irrigation to come and install it, including having them do the twice a year servicing. I love not dragging a garden hose and using the app to schedule my watering between 4am to 6am! Side note: he trimmed one tree in my back because it really needed it, no charge. Now I maintain it each year.

Repair wall or floor tiles- 10 Oct 2026
We found Sourav Banga through HomeStars and couldn’t be happier with his work\. He was a great communicator and very professional from our first conversation right through to finishing the job\. He brought another man with him to help, and they did an excellent job fixing some shoddy old workmanship\. They made very little mess and cleaned up anything that needed it\. They even installed vinyl flooring in our closet without us having to remove our clothes\! Sourav also went out to get matching brown caulk\. He could have used what he had, but he took the extra time to make sure it looked right\. Little touches like that really stood out\. Highly recommended\. We’ll definitely be using him again!

The experience we had was absolutely terrible! We DO NOT recommend this company. We've spent over $50,000 and still have an incomplete kitchen. We told Dan at Caledon Renovations, from the very beginning, that we needed the renovation completed as quickly as possible to sell and relocate for work. Dan told us that he could complete the work in 4 weeks. On June 3rd, 2024, demolition began on our whole main floor. Once demolition was complete, no one showed up for 2 weeks. We were constantly told there were issues sourcing product, finally, when he showed up with the floor tile, it was not what we had picked but decided to continue anyway to speed up the renovation. It is now August 7th and it still not done. There were several quality issues that were addressed several times and Dan offered to come back to fix these issues for a 3rd time - we declined. The final straw was when we had a subcontractor show up at our house demanding money or he would place a lean on our house. After speaking to this gentleman, we found out that Dan had not paid him and said it was because we owed money - we were paid up to date. When we told Dan we do not want to work with him because of the trouble he has caused, he offered a refund of $1200 for upper kitchen cabinet doors. Even though we were not satisfied with the refund amount, we agreed. We told him to pick up his sign from our home and give us the refund. That was 6 days ago and we've heard nothing from him. We now have to hire another contractor to finish the renovation which is going to cost us more money and time.

Install or renovate stairs- 20 Jun 2025
I hired Vish & his team to install an egress walkout door in my bsmt. In addition his team removed the stairs rebuilt the structure and also installed an egress window. Everything start to finish was fantastic. You get all the information you need from Vish he is very thorough; and he doesn't overload you with unnecessary information but is always happy & willing to answer any questions. I am legalizing my bsmt apt; I hired Vish to complete the exterior work but actually wished I had hired him for the full job because it would likely be completed by now. Vish even offered to come back after my renovation is complete to epoxy paint the exterior entrance way. I will update this review with photos after the everything is complete. Rest assured hiring Vish for your next job will be a positive experience.

Vertical blinds needed for my commercial building. Met with Sunpreet at Shades of the Six and they had a amazing selection of blinds & window coverings. We chose a colour and within days a representative attended the site to take detailed measurements. The custom blinds were created and installed within 2 weeks, we were very pleased with the fast timeline provided. Also, the blinds are very good quality. I would highly recommend attending their store and seeing the variety of window coverings and more. The price was very reasonable and the timeline from order to installation was much faster than we anticipated. Great store & great service!
