Install or repair glass shower door- 24 Nov 2025
We are very happy with the quality and beauty of our shower doors. We did two bathrooms at once, and are pleased with the work and results. A+ Photos attached show the before and after. We upgraded the glass and added the coating for easy and better cleaning. The price would be much less if you didn’t add these features. So this is a budget-friendly company.

We moved into a new home with an unsafe wood fireplace. We wanted to convert it to a gas fireplace insert. We reached out to many contractors on HomeStars, but Bobbi was the only one who actually came out to speak to us and give us options. He was attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and his suggestions were spot on. Mohammad, Damon and a third whose name escapes me (sorry) were a fantastic install team. They left the worksite clean. Gave us a walk through of how to work the remote and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend them.

Install laminate floor- 14 Oct 2026
It is hard not to use superlatives composing this review of the excellent work Varant and his team at Valiant Flooring performed on a major renovation we recently undertook for our older four-bedroom, split-level Scarborough home. The project involved installing 1200+ sq. ft. of engineered hardwood (white oak) on the main floor and on both the upper and lower floors, which include four bedrooms and two hallways. The project also required two new stairwells, with new railings and spindles, and five new posts, all natural oak, not to mention new baseboards throughout. Having gone this far, we opted for four new closet doors, one for each bedroom. In short, a mega-project, with a serious financial commitment. It is not often you can say of a construction team working at your home that you feel like you made new friends! Thank you Varant and Valiant Flooring for changing our home with what we consider a flooring masterpiece. It is worth every penny! See Google review for more details).

This review is long overdue. Ive been working with Rigid Frame since 2022 and have used their services for multiple projects, including my own house in Toronto. The Rigid Frame team is highly experienced and exceptional in architectural design, structural engineering, and construction. Having worked with several design teams in the past, I feel fortunate to have found them at the right time. While they may not be the cheapest option, they are absolutely worth every penny. Communication is seamless, and throughout the construction process, its incredibly valuable to receive a professional response right on the spot. I highly recommend this team to anyone looking to work with a company that truly understands the entire construction process from A to Z. Thank you, Arvin and Pezhman, for all your hard work and dedication. My next project will definitely be coming to you soon!

We offer service in all aspects of urban tree management. Notice We do not take on overgrown, or any, cedar 'hedge' without being given carte blanche on method. It usually takes five years to restore an overgrown hedge and begins with a drastic 'cut-back'. I will not lightly shave an overgrown mess and take your money as if I have served you well. Thank you.

Remove or trim tree- 14 Oct 2026
A recent hail storm wreaked havoc on a mature, 30ft spruce in our front yard, leaving a vicious tangle of damaged and severed branches loomng overhead. Erik exhibited his elite climbing skills and veteran savvy to carefully prune, reshape, and thin out the tree from top to bottom. We are back to gardening now without the threat of falling branches. A climbing arborist in the classic sense, Erik shared a wealth of info during an enjoyable afternoon. His ground crew left the property in immaculate condition. We were delighted with the results and the price was commensurate with the work. We recommend VTS without reservation.

From start to finish, the team demonstrated true professionalism and exceptional attention to detail. They took the time to walk me through all the available options to resolve the issue, which made me feel confident in choosing the best solution for my home. His commitment and communication really set the tone for a smooth project. The crew was equally impressive. They worked diligently and respectfully, keeping the workspace tidy and organized throughout the job. It’s clear they take pride in their work. Dishwasher, 6 year old, wasnt working properly. Thought it was the heating element but Karl came with new element and discovered that wasnt the issue. He was so determined to solve the mystery, not giving up when I suggested wed have to replace the machine. He persevered and in the end the dishwasher was reset and working again. He is honest, friendly, professional and skilled. I want to highlight the determination he displayed, because often when a technician is sent by a larger service they really dont care - they get paid and leave. Karl runs his own business and CARES about service and customer experience. It is rare to encounter this today, in my experience, so I was really impressed with Karl and would highly recommend him for any electrical appliance repair.
