We offer service in all aspects of urban tree management. Notice We do not take on overgrown, or any, cedar 'hedge' without being given carte blanche on method. It usually takes five years to restore an overgrown hedge and begins with a drastic 'cut-back'. I will not lightly shave an overgrown mess and take your money as if I have served you well. Thank you.

Remove or trim tree- 14 Oct 2026
A recent hail storm wreaked havoc on a mature, 30ft spruce in our front yard, leaving a vicious tangle of damaged and severed branches loomng overhead. Erik exhibited his elite climbing skills and veteran savvy to carefully prune, reshape, and thin out the tree from top to bottom. We are back to gardening now without the threat of falling branches. A climbing arborist in the classic sense, Erik shared a wealth of info during an enjoyable afternoon. His ground crew left the property in immaculate condition. We were delighted with the results and the price was commensurate with the work. We recommend VTS without reservation.

Hi. Am very satisfied with Rushforth Electric. Per my review's title, they responded quickly. Though, I did have to agree to a same day appointment the morning when they returned my call, but that was O.K., as I was available then, and I wanted the work to be completed as soon as possible. Two tradesmen showed up, on time. Also, they called me as they were on their way, so I could plan for arrival. So important. They seemed to be an expert electrician and an younger apprentice (my sense). The expert was friendly, even commented favourably on a humorous artwork I had on the wall (he actually took a photo); the apprentice kept to himself, was all business, but that was fine, as the expert supervised him while working. Apprentices benefit from learning from a pro. (We all were once, and do benefit.) I found Rushforth to be very professional, both admin/head office and the trades. Price was reasonable compared with another quotation I had obtained. To be direct, it was in line with what I had hoped for/was expecting. I consider Rushforth Electric is now my go-to. I'm concerned, though, that if you act upon my review, they'll be too booked up going forward. lol! However, more customers is good for their business and likely means that Rushforth will hire more tradespersons to complete the extra work. Regards to my readers and to Rushforth. Cheers.

Sparkle Roofing Inc
Rating: 5 out of 5
At one point in their life, homeowners will have to deal with roofing problems, be it through repair and renovation or during the initial roof installation. It is one of those housing problems that are almost impossible to ignore for both the residential and commercial homeowners. Nobody would be comfortable living in a house with leaking or collapsing roof; it is not only dangerous to your life, your loved ones or your tenants, but also unhygienic and unhealthy. Also. there have been a lot of reported cases of tenants suing landlords/ladies for damages due to such eventualities, trust me you don’t want to be part of it. You, therefore, need a roofing partner who will always be there with you at every step of your home improvement process; that’s where Sparkle Roofing contractors come in.

We contacted Filadelfia after working with three other contractors we weren't satisfied with. (The first one, a kitchen reno, cut all the ground wires during his install - no idea why. We found out a year later and had to rewire the kitchen. The second turned a month-long job into a 6 month saga. The third built a deck that we had to have fixed only a year later.) Needless to say, I was cautious. You can tell Rodney and his team were going to be different from the second you meet them. People of a certain age will understand what I mean when I say they are about the 'old school' service: They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They quoted and stuck to the quote. They kept their word. They did good work. They were respectful of the neighbours. They finished earlier than they promised. The whole package. Whereas other contractors would send one or two people, disappear for a few days, and then get back to it, there were usually 3 to 6 people from the Filadelfia team onsite the entire time. They wanted to get the job done - and done well - and get on to the next one. That's how I work, and I appreciate it in others. We have at least 4 more jobs to do, and we'll call Rodney for all of them.
