Hi I have been in the construction industry for nearly 20 years. I have worked my way up from labourer to lead hand . I worked on large commercial projects like schools and townhomes. While working on these projects I gained skills along the way like installing doors and hardware , fixing drywall . I am 67 years old and been in the construction business since I was 16years old. My Father who was a builder in the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s taught all myself and 3 older brothers about carpentry & finish carpentry. Myself as the youngest and my brother are still quite actively working in this construction industry. I pretty much can work in any place in British Columbia as I don’t mind travelling abroad and working in remote areas. My specialty work is rough framing , finish carpentry, supervision for bigger projects and pretty much familiar with the whole process of start to finish with building structures. I’m not a person to brag about my qualifications but have to say which will speak for itself is the length of time I’ve been in this industry and become very knowledgeable. I specialize in cabinetry and fine finfinishing, however, over the last eighteen years of construction, Im 37 and physically fit and efficient. I have had to jump around a little to make sure all my bills are paid. I co owned a fairly successful painting company with my kids.Mom, we did a hundred and fifty houses. I'm a fourth year sheet metal worker, and I just finished doing my third full reno on a house. But with this one I completed it all on my own. It was for my mom in pendicton. I tore down sixty five feet of wall and raised it up to ten feet.And then added a thirty foot extension in the middle of the property to make a peeked roof on a trailer. Everything was redone, the only thing that stayed the same was the toilet and the only thing I didn't do was the drywall. I'm thirty seven years old. I am fit and efficient. I have all the tools to do just about every job, from small electrical and plumbing to full bathroom kitchen renos whatever you need. Communication is a very high priority for me. Doing a renovation of any scale is a big deal for any person. And I want it to be perfect for the customers so they can always be happy to show it off and use it every day without any regrets or remorse.
