Wonderful experience and job well done. Special thanks to Michael for heading the crew and getting the work done ahead of time. The backyard grading along the property line between my neighbour and myself happens to be quite contentious. It has been mediated by the Richmond Hill Grading Department (RHGD) who have been quite understanding and reasonable in their handling of the situation. When the request came from the RHGD on what was needed on my side, a call was put in to Greenlane Landscaping to estimate the job and provide details on when it could be done. They, in fact, were the only landscaping company that answered my call. Michael, their landscape architect, came by and scoped out the job. It was done in a professional and congenial manner. The terms were agreed fairly shortly after that (regrade of the the area and resod as needed) and the date was set. There was a wrinkle in that the job date had to be pushed forward to meet the needs of RHGD and that was accommodated by Greenlane. When the date came, Greenlane sent a professional crew supervised by Michael, and they did a highly professional job. The crew was congenial and and empathetic in their relations. The job was completed to a first rate standard. the sod and soil provided were excellent and the instructions provide to keep the sod growing were easy to follow. In fact, the sod is the best grass I have in my backyard. There have been no issues with RHGD regarding the work done so far on my side of the property line. Thank you Greenlane on a job well done.

The experience we had was absolutely terrible! We DO NOT recommend this company. We've spent over $50,000 and still have an incomplete kitchen. We told Dan at Caledon Renovations, from the very beginning, that we needed the renovation completed as quickly as possible to sell and relocate for work. Dan told us that he could complete the work in 4 weeks. On June 3rd, 2024, demolition began on our whole main floor. Once demolition was complete, no one showed up for 2 weeks. We were constantly told there were issues sourcing product, finally, when he showed up with the floor tile, it was not what we had picked but decided to continue anyway to speed up the renovation. It is now August 7th and it still not done. There were several quality issues that were addressed several times and Dan offered to come back to fix these issues for a 3rd time - we declined. The final straw was when we had a subcontractor show up at our house demanding money or he would place a lean on our house. After speaking to this gentleman, we found out that Dan had not paid him and said it was because we owed money - we were paid up to date. When we told Dan we do not want to work with him because of the trouble he has caused, he offered a refund of $1200 for upper kitchen cabinet doors. Even though we were not satisfied with the refund amount, we agreed. We told him to pick up his sign from our home and give us the refund. That was 6 days ago and we've heard nothing from him. We now have to hire another contractor to finish the renovation which is going to cost us more money and time.

We are a small landscaping company that provides grass cutting services and snow shoveling. We also do spring and fall cleanup, hedging, fertilizing and leaf removal. We separate ourselves from our competition by being very diligent with our litter pick everytime before we cut, making sure we don't mulch up any trash as well. We do vertical cuts with the trimmer along all borders and sidewalks, giving your lawn a very clean and sharp look. Nino and team set up my sprinkler system in 2020. I have to say it's been great! I'm always getting compliments how green and thick my lawn is, and my vegetables are so big because of my drip line! Team was professional and did a great job at the installation. I have multiple sprinkler zones (front lawn, side lawn, small strip by the driveway, back lawn); I have sprinklers also for the flower gardens; I have drip lines in my vegetable garden, cedar hedges, and trees behind my swimspa). Nino and son come every Spring to open the system, and in the Fall to winterize my system. Year 2 I had a hole in one garden line, which they cutaway and added a replacement piece, all within the warranty. I would totally recommend a sprinkler system and would recommend Riverstone Irrigation to come and install it, including having them do the twice a year servicing. I love not dragging a garden hose and using the app to schedule my watering between 4am to 6am! Side note: he trimmed one tree in my back because it really needed it, no charge. Now I maintain it each year.

He completed caulking around 3 doors for me. Very nice guy however the caulking around first door he did was a bit messy. He tried to fix it but I will likely have to have it redone. The second and third door are not bad.

Was looking to fill an underutilized alcove within our living room by installing some custom cabinetry. Used Homestars to identify interested cabinetry trade groups/ companies. I received 4 expressions of interest but chose Kant Construction due to their timely response and prompt follow-up by Dhruv K., which included specific questions/ concerns raised by the fairly detailed drawing I provided to all interested parties. I received an attractive quote for the work, and in particular appreciated the detail drawings Dhruv provided which ensured we were on the same design path. Also, Dhruv quickly adjusted the cabinet dimensions when unexpected plumbing issues were later revealed. The cabinetry was skillfully installed by Dhruv and his crew, Simrat and Charanjeet. We are quite pleased with the end result, which included 6 drawers and 3 good size cabinets, and giving us added space for future use. Thanks very much Dhruv !

It was an urgent repair. He showed up on time, said he was going to get a part and never returned. We waited 5 hours … tried calling and messaging several times to no avail. Had to scramble to find another repair person.
