An amazing vibe from the first moment we met Jerson-Daniel Estezo, which is means and says a lot and gives you a foundation to move from. Family business (check), started in 2009 (Check), run in part by the son, a passionate, young but experience star (right in the sweet spot) who loves his work, and is about common sense. Whatever you pay for the visit he gives you so much info about our house to help you understand how it works at a basic level. He made some amazing suggestions, and he's so passionate about the work that he asked to follow the project and offered other ways to help (connecting us to arborists) They also do windows for select customers which kills two birds with one stone. When I come one Homestars, this is what I'm looking for. Small businesses that care. We're still speaking to a few folks on windows as I just found out Estezo Estates even does them - but, what luck! Anyways this is the place to go for an honest group that feels like they are on your team.

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Matrix Renovations. They demolished an old cast iron tub which was embedded in the concrete walls. The tub replacement, new plumbing fixtures, wall repair and tiling were done in a very timely matter at a fair price. Their workmanship and attention to detail created a seamless transition from the renovation to the existing bathroom. They were excellent at communicating the scope and status of the renovation. Cobblestonembers did a great job overall — the crew that came out was professional, efficient, and left the area clean. However, I was disappointed with the pricing process. The initial quote was lower than others, which was part of why I chose them, but once the job was completed, the cost was revised and ended up being higher than other quotes I received. They based their original quote on photos sent through Homestar, while other contractors visited the site in person. After starting the work, they claimed the chimney removal was more extensive than expected and added extra charges, including the removal of a brick veneer wall that wasn’t visible in the pictures. While the workmanship was good, I would recommend getting an on-site quote to avoid unexpected price increases.

Had a downspout that froze over during the winter. Slavik was quick to respond and promptly replaced the downspout. Due to a miscommunication around orientation and grading, the initial installation resulted in an ice dam at the end of the downspout and water leaking through the elbow joint next to the property. Slavik was again prompt to respond- he recognized the mistake and came back to address the issue at no additional cost. The downspout has worked perfectly since then. Moreover, Slavik's suggestion of re-routing the downspout through some hedges have concealed it nicely. Overall very pleased with the responsiveness & quality of work- highly recommend Gitano.
