Question 2

How do I know if I need a new water heater or just a repair?

Accepted Answer

Question 4

What size water heater do I need for my Ajax, Durham home?

Accepted Answer

The right size depends on the number of people in your household and your daily hot water usage. As a general rule, a tank of 150 to 190 litres suits most households of two to four people, while larger households may need 270 litres or more.

Tankless units are sized by flow rate rather than tank capacity, so the right fit will depend on how many fixtures or appliances may be running at the same time.
