They are the best! Their expertise, technical knowledge, quality and communication are excellent. I worked with them for mold inspection and air quality testing. I got in a contact with a lot of other companies before to get some quotes but none of them sounded as convincing as Inch by Inch inspection. Tony sent me the quotes on time and spent almost half an hour on the phone to explain me the process, what they will do, which equipments they will use..etc. As an engineer, this was so important to me. Also, while Tony was doing the inspection he made sure he is checking every single point on the walls, floors and ceiling in order not to miss any potential issue. Eco-Therma did a great job removing mold, adding vapor barrier, adding baffles and insulation for my attic. They did a thorough job and ensured that everything was done with care. It was a pleasure working with Saba and her team. We had interviewed several companies prior and upon meeting Saba, we immediately knew we would be happy with the outcome. During our first meeting, she listened to our wish list, walked through our home and provided ideas that we hadn’t thought of. We were always on the same page about style and functionality of our home. She requested shared Houzz and Pinterest boards so she could really understand what we were hoping for. She was also up front about the various costs we would incur throughout the process. During the drawing and design process, her team was extremely responsive, patient and accommodating. They were open to feedback and revisions. They also facilitated most communication with other third parties that were required (arborist, mechanical engineers, City of Mississauga, etc.). Saba negotiated prices and services on our behalf to ensure we were getting the best price. Her team also managed the entire permit process with the City on our behalf. They kept us up to date with regular communication and explained the process clearly. Our permits were granted quickly due to Saba’s team submitting all of the required documents and responding quickly to inquiries. I am forever grateful that Sam from Amista Homes reached out when I initially submitted a service request at Homestar. Four years ago, I bought a bungalow with plans to convert it into a two-story home, moving my parents to the main floor and my kids and myself to the second. After struggling with my previous contractor for three years and getting nowhere, Sam stepped in last September, and now my home is 90% complete! Ive officially moved into the second floor, and the entire process has been smooth, fast, and truly amazing thanks to Sam and his team. Together, we handled everything from designing and permits to Committee of Adjustment approval, framing, stone and stucco, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, flooring, and tiling. The result is a 3,300 sq ft duplex, where the main floor features a large open-concept kitchen, living room, and dining area with two bedrooms and a fully accessible bathroom with a powder room customized for my parents. The second floor is designed for my family with an open-concept kitchen, living room, and three bedrooms plus a den with three full bathrooms. The two master bedrooms have walk-in closets and ensuite bathrooms. I ended up getting everything I wanted and more. While the neighbors were initially unhappy, Sam handled everything professionally and made sure they understood the situation. The timing of the work was perfect for each team, and Sam remained very involved every step of the way. He worked closely with me while ensuring we stayed within a very tight budget. Were nearing the finish line of the original plan, and I couldnt be happier. I now have my dream home within budget. Thank you, Sam youve truly been a lifesaver!
