We had a previous contractor perform a horrible reno on our onsuite bathroom last year and the shower started leaking - right through to the living room below. Wojtech and his team did a fantastic job of gutting the bathroom and remodelling exactly as requested as well as fixing the ceiling in the living room. We encountered some additional structural problems due to the terrible job done by our first contractor (hope there's a special place in hell for that guy). Wojtech fixed it all without extending our schedule and with minimal additional cost. All work was done extremely professionally and we are very happy with the results. I highly recommend their work and will definitely use Protek for any further projects that may come up.

I needed some work done to update the basement and some room upstairs. I found it difficult to find a reliable good working contractor that would not leave me in a lurch. I found Ben the Builder. I was pleasantly surprised with his work and work ethic. He listen to what I needed and delivered all at a reasonable price. He called when he knew he would not be able to work. He also provided regular updates as to progress or called if there were any questions or concerns. Good all around jack of all trades.

The experience we had was absolutely terrible! We DO NOT recommend this company. We've spent over $50,000 and still have an incomplete kitchen. We told Dan at Caledon Renovations, from the very beginning, that we needed the renovation completed as quickly as possible to sell and relocate for work. Dan told us that he could complete the work in 4 weeks. On June 3rd, 2024, demolition began on our whole main floor. Once demolition was complete, no one showed up for 2 weeks. We were constantly told there were issues sourcing product, finally, when he showed up with the floor tile, it was not what we had picked but decided to continue anyway to speed up the renovation. It is now August 7th and it still not done. There were several quality issues that were addressed several times and Dan offered to come back to fix these issues for a 3rd time - we declined. The final straw was when we had a subcontractor show up at our house demanding money or he would place a lean on our house. After speaking to this gentleman, we found out that Dan had not paid him and said it was because we owed money - we were paid up to date. When we told Dan we do not want to work with him because of the trouble he has caused, he offered a refund of $1200 for upper kitchen cabinet doors. Even though we were not satisfied with the refund amount, we agreed. We told him to pick up his sign from our home and give us the refund. That was 6 days ago and we've heard nothing from him. We now have to hire another contractor to finish the renovation which is going to cost us more money and time.

I hired this company to repair my roof and remove a large tree that was growing too close to the house. They were excellent from start to finish. The team arrived on time, assessed everything carefully, and explained the work in a way that was easy to understand. The roof repair was done quickly and with great workmanship. They fixed the damaged shingles, sealed everything properly, and made sure the roof was secure and protected. The tree removal was handled safely and professionally—they took down the branches and trunk without causing any damage, and cleaned up the entire area afterward. I’m really happy with the results. My roof looks solid again, and the yard is clear and safe. Great service, fair pricing, and a very reliable team. Highly recommend them for roofing and tree removal work.

Getting a heated driveway from Boiler Works Mechanical was one of the best decisions we’ve made for our home. Very unprofessional trades people , stating that they can complete the job as instructed. There is no address or other adds for this business on the internet. Only through homestars.com. supposedly they were vetted by this company. The trades people have no knowledge on how to prep for a side walk and a cement patio. Every step was incorrect. Had to explain what needed to be completed. Sent examples on what needs to be done to complete each step. Inappropriate dept. Wrong framing size. No true gravel decorative rock scattered around. No 3 to 4 inch crushed gravel. Cement was going to be poured onto the rock. The decision was made with my son to fire this team. Each step was incorrect. We could not break for them to continue. As the trust was no longer there. Would like a refund in good faith. As what they had completed did not cost what I had already paid. This company are scammers This company needs to be reported to BBB but there is no address.
