My company, 2THOUSAND1 Design Studio, started as an e-commerce website selling safety glasses on Shopify while I was apprenticing as a finish carpenter. It has since evolved into a small-scale sole proprietorship, offering my creative input as a service for small construction projects. I started in fencing, retaining walls and interlocking paving stone back when I was still in high school and maintained the business throughout my time in university. I sold the business after graduation but continued completing projects for friends and family ever since. I have over the past year started back up again in support of my grandsons ambitions in lawncare and property maintenance.
