We had a GE dishwasher installed by this company. The installation cost around $230 CAD. On the day of installation, the dishwasher door was making a loud noise on opening and closing. The technicians that installed the appliance were unable to figure out the source of the noise. They told me the noise is probably coming from the door hinges. A few days later, I placed a service call with GE (the appliance is under warranty), and a GE technician came to inspect and determine if the appliance has a defect. The GE technician realized that the noise was caused by INSTALLATION PROBLEM (I have a written report), because the door was not making a noise when the dishwasher was removed from the cabinet. I called MD Appliance Installations again and asked them to send a technician to fix the issue. Their technician came on November 18, 2021. He only spent 15 MINUTES in our house. He did NOT bother to remove the dishwasher from the cabinet to detect the source of the noise. The only thing he did was: open the dishwasher screws, move it slightly inside the cabinet (less than 1/2 inches), and tell me "your cabinets are too tight". I can't accept this answer, because we had another dishwasher installed in the same spot with no mechanical problem. Yes, there can be very tiny differences in size between dishwashers, but a PROFESSIONAL installation job is supposed to rectify such issues. Otherwise, did I just pay $230 for a couple of screws to be tightened?!!! I asked the MD Appliance Installations technician for a refund in case I found another company that was able to resolve the issue. He told me that I should talk to their manager, and immediately called him. The manager refused to talk to me. I do not appreciate this unfriendly and unresponsive attitude from the manager. The source of the noise is the door springs and/or pulleys hitting the cabinet wall. In the long run, this will cause damage to the mechanical parts of the dishwasher's door. Therefore, if I don't get this noise fixed right now, in the future I will also have to pay for repairs caused by the bad installation job done by MD Appliances Installations. Right now I have to contact another appliance installation company and pay another installation fee to repair this issue. If MD Appliances Installations is not willing to fix this issue, I think I deserve a full refund.

In my front yard, the "Interlock Walkway and Steps to the Front Porch" shifted and sank within the first year after it was installed by another company. After getting nowhere with that company, I started searching for a company that was credible, competent, and capable of correcting this huge dilemma and safety concerns. Champagne Construction And Interlocking was the company I needed. Its managed by a skilled professional person Matt, who surrounded himself with similar people who are experts in the interlocking business. When the representative came over to work on a quotation to correct the problem/issues, he spent much time observing, measuring, probing and asking questions. Then he clearly explained to me how he planned to correct the problems and issues, as he saw them. He told me that they would have to remove, clean, reuse, adjust, replace, and re-install the interlocking stones and steps. He later gave me an estimate and notified me that the price could change (increase) depending on what he found within and below the base underneath the interlocking stones and steps. I accepted the estimate because I trusted his honesty and believed his expertise based on reviews I read about the company and comments from my friend and a former customer of the company. However, I waited a while (no regrets) for the company to get started and realized then that they took their time to get their jobs done correctly in their first attempt. When they started my job, I observed their careful and confident approach, and the quiet dedication and commitment of the team, particularly Dustin (Michael) who did a great job in rebuilding the steps and walkway. Champagne Construction And Interlocking has my vote and I highly recommend this company to everyone out there!

We recently hired Brothers United, led by Haroon, to repair and relay our interlocking brick walkway, landing, and curved step area. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. Haroon and his crew were professional, arrived right on schedule, and maintained a clean, organized workspace. They take serious pride in their craftsmanship. Tackling a complex circular paver pattern and curved retaining wall requires a high level of skill, and they executed it seamlessly. They dismantled the problematic, sunken areas right down to the foundation to fix the underlying structural issues properly, rather than just applying a quick surface fix. The final result looks fantastic. Highly recommend.

I hired Tyler and his team at Parliament Contracting this summer for a fairly big job that involved installing new soffit, fascia, plywood, insulation and cement fibre siding on my 70 year old house. I am very pleased with the level of service I received, and with the outcome of the project. Tyler and team estimated about 10-12 working days to complete the project (minus rainy days, of course) and they nailed the timeline perfectly (pardon the pun). All throughout the process, the team communicated with me closely, and when my old house posed unforeseen challenges, they helped me navigate the situation in order to arrive at important decisions.
