    Chris and his dad came last summer to do my kitchen and bathroom. It was a super finicky job as I live in a 100 year old building that was not initially made for residential use, and my place has a few structural oddities. While it was a bit of a bumpy ride (my first renovation) Chris and his dad did an amazing job and worked hard to build my dream kitchen and bathroom. Further to that, they are super nice and conduct themselves honourably in business (I’ll admit that I was holding off on a review for a while in case anything popped up). One small issue popped up and Chris came back to fix it in a timely fashion, as part of the warranty he provided me on his work. I’d definitely recommend Batu Contracting to anyone looking to do a renovation or to help out with repairs around the house.

I find it often narrows down to the lack of understanding or lack of planning, sometimes both. It shouldn’t bankrupt you to find solutions for your home either. I grew up in a family where resources weren’t abundant, I adopted the mentality of if “I can’t buy it, I’ll learn to do it myself and do it well so I can do it for my family”. Three-years of construction engineering technologies in college and ten-years of working in the construction industry later, I’m hoping to utilize the best of my abilities and knowledge to put something back in communities and strengthen families financially, that’s my goal.
