Dom did an amazing job fixing a brick wall for us that was badly damaged due to water damage. He was the only contractor that was willing to take on the project as many didn't want to do the work. Hired Anthony to rebrick my chimney and replace the cumbling window sills. He was meticulous, spent the time to get the job done right! All the brick work was properly installed, aligned and conformed to the original brick. The job site was cleaned as though he was never there. Great job start to finish.

I hired Tyler and his team at Parliament Contracting this summer for a fairly big job that involved installing new soffit, fascia, plywood, insulation and cement fibre siding on my 70 year old house. I am very pleased with the level of service I received, and with the outcome of the project. Tyler and team estimated about 10-12 working days to complete the project (minus rainy days, of course) and they nailed the timeline perfectly (pardon the pun). All throughout the process, the team communicated with me closely, and when my old house posed unforeseen challenges, they helped me navigate the situation in order to arrive at important decisions. The team showed up on time every single morning, was respectful both to me and my neighbours, and above all, was very thorough and detail oriented in their work. I have no hesitation in posting a 10 out of 10 rating for my experience with Parliament Contracting, and I have advised Tyler that I will be contacting him first when I replace my roof within the next five years. Daniel does not conduct the estimates or do the work... He does not appear to be a handyman - he does not show up at all. He is more of a General that subs out the work. That is OK but he tries to charge for extras that he does not incur but tradespeople he hires might. The tradespeople were good but there is a lack of transparency with an element of greed that is unpleasant.

Gabe, was on time and on budget. He set out clear expectations of the project and delivered on each of them in a timely manor. He does most of the work himself, so he never lost days waiting for others to be able to make it. He stressed the details right down to the last minute of the project. But the best part of the reno was his system for removing garbage daily so we never had a big mess to deal with. The entire job site was clean and organized.

The initial visit was fine with the exception of the late arrival. The diagnostic was fine and I was told I could get a discount on the installation of a new appliance. The part for repair wouldn't have been worth the expense. When I called to accept that offer, they reneged and quoted a higher price. I was advised on the call they would speak to their superior to resolve the discrepancy. I didn't hear back. I contacted another repair company willing to do it for that lower price. The other repair company did a great job.

Owner gave us a quote in September to install a hot water rad to our existing rad system, swap out black iron pipes for copper ones, add a gas line for an outdoor bbq, add a hot water line to our washer, etc. Deposit ($3966) was made on September 13th 2022 with an agreement that he would start work on October 12th. On days where work was to be completed, he was a no show with no call to advise he couldn't make it. As of now, there have been 5 days where we stayed home anticipating him showing up and not even getting a courtesy call that he couldn't make it. Have been trying to reach him since to establish an appropriate alternative, only to be delayed further. He is now not answering text messages or calls for the past week despite the last contact stating we'd work something out. At a loss of words at how disappointed we are. We are now looking into legal action to get our deposit returned. Do better, your customers deserve it.
