Pro Paint just finished painting my house, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. From the moment they arrived, the crew was organized, respectful, and clearly knew what they were doing. They took great care to cover and protect all surfaces, floors, furniture, fixtures before starting, which really put my mind at ease. Throughout the job, they kept everything clean and tidy, and once the painting was done, the supervisor came by to do a full walkthrough and make sure everything was perfect. The attention to detail was spot-on, and the final result looks fantastic. Highly recommend Pro Paint if you want a smooth, professional experience and beautiful results!

We initially hired Macleans to renovate our kitchen and later had them build a media wall with fireplace in our family room and couldn't be happier. From start to finish it is evident that they are well versed in their craft. Barb was very helpful with choosing our cabinets and countertops and had great suggestions that were helpful in our design. Dave, Terry and Trevor always came when scheduled and were always ready to work (after a few jokes from Dave.......sometimes funny ;) Their knowledge and craftmanship are undeniable and the quality of their cabinets and countertops are top notch and we are very happy with all of our choices. They were quick to address any questions or concerns we had and always made everything right. If you're looking for someone to do your trim work, Trevor is your guy. He did an exceptional job for us and was meticulous with his work. Maclean's is a hardworking, skilled, honest, and reliable family company and would be welcome in our home anytime. Thank you Macleans for our fabulous kitchen and media wall and maybe there will be a bathroom reno in the future...don't tell my husband I said that ;)

Build or renovate basement- 31 Mar 2025
Exceptional contractors!!! The cream of the crop. Madhi and Jay came to repair a 75 years old stairway. With their magic and bare hands, they transformed the old stairs into a gorgeous stairway. Their work is simply perfection. Madhi and Jay are respectable, they have amazing interpersonal skills, attention to details and cleanliness. Upon completion, it is real hard to believe that the old, aged and worn out space has been transformed into a dreamy area. I am contemplating the new stairway every single day, I am over the moon with the way it turned out. A quazillion thank yous to Madhi and Jay. You are simply the Best!!!!!

We bought a home that needed significant work in order to fit our entire family comfortably and we wanted to turn the basement into a rentable apartment. We had never owned a home before and knew nothing about the type of work that was needed, nor did we know the regulations. VIP walked us through it all and made the whole process as painless as possible. They renovated a bathroom on the top floor. Added an en-suite bathroom to our master bedroom. Did the flooring, custom made stairs out of the flooring we chose, glass panes and oak bannisters. They took down the walls on the first floor creating a large open concept kitchen/dining room and living room area. They increased the windows and replaced one window with an exit from the dining room onto a deck in the back yard. They added a discreet powder room on the first floor and another one on the split level just below along with a hidden pocket door closet for the washer and dryer. They made an entire basement apartment, with a beautiful bright kitchen, a luxurious bathroom and bedroom. They installed larger windows to add more light, installed potlights and a separate exit. We could not be more pleased with their work. We have now rented out our inspected and approved basement apartment which they have designed in a way that it is completely independent of the rest of our home and feels like an entirely different property. All in all they renovated our entire home and turned our three bedroom, two bathroom, one powder room house into a spacious 5 bedroom, 3 full bathroom and 2 powder room home. The time they spent walking us through the process and being patient with us as we figured out what exactly we wanted, sometimes on the fly my family will always appreciate. The price they gave us was in line with what other companies charged but the care they showed when dealing with us and their attention to detail makes them worth much more. As you can tell my entire family likes the guys at VIP a lot and their work was impeccable. Could not give a more enthusiastic recommendation.

Remove wallpaper- 10 Sep 2025
I couldn't be more happy with the job ty co. did with my painting. My house was not an easy job. Former owner was a smoker so the walls & ceiling were stained, there was wacky wallpaper in two rooms, and we have huge vaulted ceilings to boot. Cam was our main guy & he was incredible. Paid close attention to detail, he was very neat, tidy & respectful of my toddlers nap schedule. Aiden came & helped for a few days & he was great too. Dealing with Tyler to coordinate the job was a pleasure. Everyone who has seen the work says it looks amazing. Would recommend these guys any day & will hire them again to paint my kitchen & other areas of the house such as the basement & carport. Worth every penny.

We used Schmidtke Kitchen and Bath for our fence and deck. Erick did a great job, even repairing a retaining wall. Communication was great and all work was done on time. We were very satisfied with the job and we decided to have him complete a washroom reno as well. The washroom reno was done in 2 weeks, the exact time that he said it would be. Erik was flexible with finishings and allowed a wide range of options within the quote price. We are also planning on finishing our basement and we would feel confident using Erick for it as well. We enjoyed working with Erick more than the larger contracting companies. With the washroom, Erick came back to make small adjustments that were needed, quickly and willing.

Short and to the point: We had our 28 year old kitchen and main floor transformed by Brandom Kitchens in 2023 and can thankfully and happily say their whole team did a great job from the initial consultation through to completion and aftercare, on time and within budget. A little more detail... Right from the moment we walked in the front door and Office Manager Cheryl set us up with one of their designers, Shana; a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer, we felt very relaxed and comfortable. During our conversation with Shana, we just clicked and knew she was the right person for the job. She showed us through their extensive warehouse of finishes and materials and gave us a thorough explanation of their processes and what we could expect if we chose to hire Brandom. We left the showroom with a bunch of ideas and thought about our options. We wanted everything on the main floor redone from popcorn ceiling removal to all new flooring and cabinetry. After living in this house for 21 years we want to head into retirement years in our home but make it work and flow better. We decided to go for it and gave the retainer for a design plan. From there they looked after everything, arranging permits and hauling away the debris. Our house has the staircase in the middle the main floor and it made for a challenge to use the square footage to it best potential. Shana did a great job tracking the details and I can confirm there is a lot to consider when you are doing a once in a lifetime renovation. Each time we went to the showroom we felt welcome and valued as clients. After several meetings to select all the fixtures right down to the drawer pulls, we firmed up a date to start construction and began to look forward to having everything done. The installer for our project was Dan, a veteran carpenter with what seemed like about 100 years experience. He came in to assess our house and what could be done with it. Next came structural engineering reports to make sure the load bearing walls were properly replaced and supported. Shana's design removed one wall completely and took a six foot opening and widened it to almost ten feet, showcasing the lower part of our staircase and the rest of the new design. She also suggested removing the old bulkheads and wrapping the counter along one wall because we didn't have enough room for an island because of the stairs being in the center of the house. The end result of Shana's Design and Dan's carpentry skills makes much better use of the existing space. It was obvious from the beginning that they worked very well together. We did the majority of the tear out ourselves with the help of a couple friends and Dan rolled in the driveway, right on time. He and his helper Joe worked pretty much every day until at least 4, sometimes even later but they were mindful that we were living in the house during the work. One thing that concerned us before hiring anyone for this kind of job was that they would start things and then be hard to find or reach on the phone. That was not the case as Shana was in pretty regular contact us and available if we called her, and I saw Dan every day. Brandom supplied and installed all new LVP flooring across the entire main floor, custom cabinetry, stone countertops, fancy faucets and sinks. We sourced our some of our own light fixtures and other items for the reno and had them on hand for the trades Brandom had hired to do the installs. When the cabinets arrived both Dan and Joe commented on how well packaged everything was for transport from. Once in place they turned out even nicer than we had even hoped for. Dan finished up right on schedule but there are always things that need aftercare and though he moved on to the next job he stayed in contact to make sure he was free to do the finishing touches when the time came. Anytime you decide to undertake a big job like this you have to expect a few hiccups along the way and this job was no different. We had a few problems but it is how Dan, Shana, and the rest of the team responded to them that made us happy we chose Brandom. This has exceeded our expectations and we cant believe how beautiful our home is and now we are confident knowing our main floor is ready for us in the next stage of life. Overall, we would suggest to anyone in the market for a beautiful full service home renovation go to Brandom and take a look around. You might be closer to your dreams than you think!

Install or repair faucets- 26 Apr 2026
I cannot recommend Omar highly enough. After a disastrous experience with Home Depot’s installation team, Omar stepped in and saved the day. He expertly handled the installation of my kitchen faucet, dishwasher, and the waterline for our refrigerator, fixing the mess left behind and ensuring everything functioned perfectly. Beyond his technical skill, Omar is a true professional. He also installed a new range hood for us, and I was so impressed with his work that I immediately hired him to do our lighting installations as well. What sets Omar apart is his attention to detail and his character: • Reliable: He was always on time and stayed true to his schedule. • Professional & Kind: He is incredibly polite, caring, and kept the workspace spotless. • Great Communicator: He explained the process clearly and made sure we were completely happy with the plan before he started and satisfied with the results after he finished.
