I started the trade in my teens. I worked with several installers and used their best methods in my own work. Along with reading manufacturer specifications and discussions with others, made sure that i was informed when working with a new product. Most of my work has been retail residential over the years, but I have also had great success in new home construction as well. I also am proficient installing resilient sheet goods, premium vinyl tiles and planks. Additionally, I am very capable of commercial work in carpet glue downs and carpet tiles, although I prefer smaller projects rather than spending weeks on one site. I started the trade on Vancouver Island, also worked in Winnipeg, then in the Toronto area and southern Ontario. I have recently returned to the Toronto area after working on Vancouver Island again for the past 10 years. My workmanship has been top-notch with no problems. I am fully equipped with the necessary tools, vehicle and supplies to perform successful installations. I am not looking for a full-time prodiction job, but selective smaller installations more appropriate for my age.

I am currently a second-year carpentry student at Durham college and go back in September. In college I’ve learned hands-on experience in residential construction with a focus on outdoor structures like decks, fences, and sheds. I also can do framing, renovation, and general carpentry.
