SCAM ALERT - Took 60% money and left w half done damaged job site. I posted a job here for hardwood refinishing. Got contacted by Tristen, met w him and hired them to do the job. Earlier he said its only 20% deposit and rest on job completion. But when he started he asked for more money like at the end of the day. They started the Job which I dont think they knew how to do. They worked w rental tools, left the floors scratched using drum sander, stained half job site blochy and leaving other half unstained. Did not even sanded to.a proper grit. Unprofessional, They used to come at around 11 am and leave at usual 6 pm, spending a lot of time in between just chatting. Spent a whole week doing only sanding to a quoted 4 day job containing sanding, staining and poly. They took about 60% of they money on monday, soon after went to get the "rental polisher" and then stopped picking calls and no reply to messages either. To a prospect home owner - You better stay away.

We had 2 custom tiled showers completed by T-roc this fall. They were very friendly and always here when they said they would be. The communications were set up via text and responses to our questions were promptly answered. The project was completed for a price that was very close to the original quote with very few change orders. The few issues that we had were dealt with positively and professionally.Latest review:

I install for all the big box stores and flooring stores in Durham Region. I install hardwood, laminate , carpet , vinyl click and vct tiles . My flooring boys and I , also install all new baseboards, quarter round and door stop. At a very affordable rate. My flooring crew and I , are the true professionals. We snap lines. We undercut all door casings . No top pinning the last rows in your wood flooring. We use wood glue and hardwood jacks to close your last few rows without any gapping . We treat ever install, as if we are doing our own house . We take great pride in our craftsmanship. Our workmanship is the best in the industry. In this trade, unfortunately you get a lot of wannabe flooring installers. And some store owners thinking they are installers. Giving you very poor advice. Please note. Most flooring store owners or box store employees , have never installed flooring. Have no clue where to start or how to finish your install. Wrong transition moldings and stair nosings. Over charging you on carpet and underpad.. Watchout for flee market deals . If the back of carpet , the latex peels off. It's defective carpet. On hardwood or laminate specials. Please check the lot numbers. You always want the same lot numbers. They only care about collecting your hard earn money. And not being very honest. Taking a lot of short cuts. Don't get mislead. Please don't let anyone install your new flooring. Without contacting me first. I know where to start my rows. And give you that professional install that you desire. I can give you advice on what products that will give you that wow factor. I take no short cuts and I have no excuses. My goal, is to make your vision into a reality. My crew and I can meet all all your flooring needs. I can recommend flooring stores with warehouse prices . No peer pressure salesman , on commission, who tries to up sale you. Or tries the switch and bait. You purchase a product and get something else at a lower grade. Some flooring stores have hidden restocking fees . No charge for under cutting your door casings charge. Or they make you sign a contract with Hidden costs. Please read the fine print. I am a certified installer. I take great pride in all my installations. Flooring is my passion. No cutting inside your house. I use a laminate cutter to reduce dust in your house. I use drop sheets. I vacuum all rooms before installing . I clean up all garbage. After all my hard suface installations, I use a swifter and a Bona cleaner . I don't accept any deposits or payment until your install is completely installed. I am fully insured. I do have WSIB . I offer free measures. I am available on short notice.

Positives : 1. Fluted panels installation in main floor and basement bedroom walls were done really good. 2. Showed up for work everyday even though the project delayed by 2 more weeks than what's estimated. Negatives : 1. Finishing touches are incomplete, especially powder room, basement laundry, cabinets etc. 2. Dining room marble sheets supposed to be bookmatch but didn't align it properly even though we kept reminding the contractor. Later once the glue is stuck tried his best to adjust but seems to have no experience in this field. 3. Cabinets in kitchen and tv units were not done properly. Kitchen cabinets dimensions were wrong and somehow adjusted to fit the space but looks crooked. One of the Tv unit cabinet had to be cut and redone. 4. Cleaning after the project was just half done. 5. Around mid project, asking extra money for patching drywall and baseboards etc. Overall Mohsen needs to improve the quality of workmanship and avoid charging extra costs during mid project.Latest review:General contractor service-
