Were were overall happy with our experience with Verdun, they were able to replace 6 windows in our home and guaranteed that they could get them in before the provincial rebate expired. We were very pleased to get the rebate and the windows installed in a timely manner. I gave them a 8 because they had a new guy on site that they kept yelling at, so it was awkward to be around and unprofessional.

We went with M2 because we loved the look of their product (we still love the look of it). However, they almost delayed our project with various miscommunications and delivery issues. We also were not too impressed with the cost of the nosings. The hardwood for our entire first floor was $7000 and nosings for 14 feet were priced at $680. At any rate, the product did arrive just in the nick of time, and the quality is superb and we are really happy with the look and feel of it. Our contractor did an amazing job on the install. I just wish getting to the final output was a little easier.

We bought a new home and the home inspection revealed we needed new flashing on the chimney. The whole process from start to finish with Top Hat was really easy. We didn't have to be here for the estimate and we didn't have to be there for the work either. We were unsure with which colour to choose to match the rest of the venting/eavestrough and they helped us pick out the right colour. They were very quick to respond with us and it was a really easy process.

Our contractor who worked on our main floor used Penta Plumbing for our reno and we were so impressed that we contacted them for help with some stuck valves in our basement near the washing machine. They showed up on time, were very thorough and even installed our new washing machine.

We hired Murdock Construction for a 6 week project to basically gut the main floor of our new house. Right off the get go, we were impressed with the attention to detail of the quote. Thomas provided detailed estimated timelines and we had daily communication with him. This made the planning of materials really easy. Thomas was also on the ball when it came to communication, if we ever had any questions or concerns, he would often get back to us within minutes. He was very easy to get a hold of, and they showed up for work every day. We were mostly impressed with Thomas’ attention to detail. The hardwood floor and trim installed throughout our main floor were installed with utmost precision. Overall, it was a fairly painless experience considering they gutted our entire first floor, tore down walls and reno’d the kitchen, washroom, and hardwood floor and trim to the entire main floor. We didn’t live there for the 6 week reno, however the house was always left in pristine condition at the end of every work day and if we happened to come by when either Thomas or Josiah were there we were always greeted very politely. These guys are professionals and I would highly recommend them.
