We were looking for a mover to handle 2 moves. One was to a nearby storage facility and the other out of town. I was expecting to have to pay for 2 days. Anna managed to get both organized for the same day. The guys were very helpful in terms of placement in the locker. They got to the other location without delay and the total cost was under the price quoted. We were extremely pleased.

He has you sign a contract for snow removal and takes your money up front. 20+ cm of snow and he doesn’t show up for 3 days. He avoids you by leaving his answering machine on. He finds all sorts of excuses for not showing after you finally reach him. The snow isn't deep enough or his truck has broken down. No communication whatsoever and never an apology. He has contracted with our neighbours as well and has damaged their property. He promised to repair the damage and did nothing. They don't use him any longer. It's so frustrating watching all the other companies out in our neighbourhood at a reasonable time after a snowfall and Hills neither shows nor notifies you of his "problem." he claims that nobody has ever found fault with his service. I was looking for pink Mandevilla and went to Angelo's as they have a reputation for quality merchandise. Despite the many yellow leaves, I was told they needed water and would "come back." They were planted with new soil and nutrients but almost immediately the remaining leaves either turned yellow or dropped off. I called and was told to dig up the plants and I could exchange for another. I went there and saw that the unsold plants were no better than the ones I purchased. I no longer had the pot. They charged $80 per plant which is much higher than other local garden centres. These plants should never have been sold in the first place. I would never buy from them again.

I have used Green and Spotless before and I did not hesitate to contact them again. They are prompt, careful and reasonable. In addition, they are flexible and happy to accommodate your schedule.

I have used Alec in the past and I knew I could count on him to do a terrific job. He manages to remove all the annoying spots and goes the extra mile to satisfy. Always a pleasure to deal with.

We have 2 units and both compressors failed within days of each other. The original installers and their company were uncooperative. I called Max and he made inquiries about the warranty even though he was not contracted by us. He kept in touch with updates. Kudos to Max for his professionalism.

After several frustrating attempts to obtain quotes on replacement of a 23 yr old deck, John Groves cheerfully agreed to look at the job. From the moment John looked at the deck, we knew he was our guy. He determined the problem areas and the potential safety issue and advised us as to how to proceed, keeping code into account. He sent a landscape designer over to ensure that the new deck would be esthetically compatible with the landscape in our yard. We had a curved area which required detailed, time consuming carpentry. John had several ideas which enhanced the utility of the deck. We now have a beautiful cedar deck which is more functional than our previous one. John has a very pleasant disposition. Both he and his assistants take the time to provide detailed feedback and ensure that you are pleased with the work. His price is competitive and there were no surprises upon completion. Despite the fact that he is highly sought after, John will not rush his work or compromise on quality of craftsmanship. In the 23 years we have lived in our custom built home, he is unequivocally, one of the finest tradespeople we have ever worked with .

Company designer Ilze came to our home twice to go over detailed 3D drawings of our walk in pantry. She offered numerous suggestions and was able to re-configure the design so that we could visualize the options available. Installation was timely and completely supervised. This company is extremely professional from estimate until post completion.

We asked Manny to do some minor work on very short notice. This is a very busy time of year and because we are returning customers, Manny obliged. While other painters may have rushed the job or charged a premium, Manny took his time and produced superior results. He is thorough, taking the time to ascertain colours and finishes. Manny communicates with clients in order to accomodate their preferences. While HE thanked us for the business, WE need to thank Manny for his professional conduct!

I initially spoke with Fred twice because of a previous bad experience with another company. We discussed his cleaning method prior to the actual appointment. As he was working, he took the time to demonstrate the difference between before and after cleaning, as well as point out why certain corners had been dirtier than others. He was punctual,thorough, and very professional. I would not hesitate to use him in the future.

We hired Manny to paint a chalet which had been neglected for years. There were a lot of cracks in the drywall and extensive patching was needed. The walls are irregular and the woodwork was tricky, but they managed to make it look new. They finished the work in the estimated time and cleaned the premises upon completion. We made a mistake with our paint selection in one of the areas and Manny offered to re-do the work at no charge. This gesture was very much appreciated. He's quite a gentleman.

Kiya first visited to discuss adjustments to potlights. We decided against this and opted to install a chandelier in the room. He came a second time to determine where to fish the wires. He did not charge for either site visit. The third time he came with two electricians who carefully installed the electrical box. The opening is perfectly centred and there was no damage whatsoever to the ceiling or walls. They moved the furniture and vacuumed the area when they were finished. Kiya answers phone calls promptly and is extremely professional.

Frontier did a remarkable job of refinishing an older strip floor which was badly stained and water damaged. It now looks new. They are a reputable and conscientious company who do their best to please their customers.
