We just had our spring clean-up. The team arrived on time and they did a great job. Our lawn has never looked cleaner. I also like the fact that this company has excellent communication. This is the second time that we have had Santos Painting in our home. We were so very impressed the first time, that we invited them back. They painted our large den and helped us to update the colour from a dark green to a light grey-blue. The results were outstanding. In addition, they painted a small hallway and helped us to fix our bathroom ceiling, which was in need of repair. They are excellent communicators, they arrive on time, they do a great job and they clean up so that you wouldn't know they were there. The main thing is that they take great pride in their work and they always do a first-class job. I have recommended them to other family members and they were equally as impressed. We found Riverstone Irrigation Limited on HomeStars and were very impressed by their reviews. Nino was very flexible and worked around our schedule to provide us with a quote. We have an above average-sized lot and we wanted the entire area covered (the front yard, the two sides and the backyard). Nino and his team of three other gentlemen arrived on time and they worked tirelessly for approximately nine hours. When they finished, the ran the new system and adjusted everything to our liking. They also gave us training on how to use the system and Nino was very accommodating about answering questions. In fact, when I had a question after they had left, Nino called me back right away. When you buy something, it's not just about the initial purchase, but it is about the service and the follow-up. Nino is committed to his customers and promptly replies to messages. He also provides start-up and closing services, which we opted for, as we want the system to stay in optimum condition. If you are looking for a quality sprinkler system and service is important to you, then call Riverstone Irrigation. The only thing we regret is that we didn't do this years ago. My husband and I decided to replace two of our existing patio doors - one at the back of the house and one at the side. We did a lot of research before we decided who we were going to hire for the job. We looked at HomeStars, and we were very impressed with the reviews regarding Ambia Windows & Doors. We sent an inquiry and a sales representative, James, called us back very quickly. We set up a time to meet and James arrived punctually and showed us all of the options for our new doors. Eventually, we settled on the KV Patio doors with the three-point lock mechanism for enhanced safety and security. In addition, we opted for doors that were subdivided into eight sections per door (photos attached). Ambia did an excellent job of meeting our needs. They came out to our home to double check the measurements to make sure the doors fit "just right". Tony called us directly to schedule an install and then head office sent me an e-mail to confirm (excellent communication). The install went off without a hitch and the installers were polite, personable and they cleaned up their work area really well. The patio doors are really well-constructed (everything fits together so well and so neatly) and they completely enhance the curb appeal of our home. We are very pleased with the service we received from Ambia and the doors are first-rate. We would most certainly go back to Ambia for any of our future door and window needs. Ronaldo and his partner arrived as scheduled. They spent a lot of time preparing for the job and they really respected our home. Everything was professionally covered, draped off, taped off and protected. You can see right away that they are real professionals. We were totally impressed by them, and they hadn't even started to paint yet! The painting looks great...best we have EVER had and we have used a variety of painters over the past 20 plus years. Plus, they did an exceptional job of cleaning up at the end. We would have them back in a heartbeat. In fact, we are already planning our next job. In this day and age, sometimes it is hard to find people who take pride in their work. I can assure you that if you use this company, you will not be disappointed. After reading all the great reviews on Home Stars, I decided to use Drape Master to clean my parents' custom draperies. These were large, panel drapes that spanned the entire room. Cindy was an excellent communicator and she spoke to me on the phone and via e-mail. She was pleasant and courteous and made sure I was aware of all options. I opted to go with dropping the drapes off at their store, as that way, you save 40%. When I arrived, I was offered a seat. Cindy came out and explained everything clearly (i.e. such as the risks, like fraying etc.) She measured the drapes and explained the pricing. When I came back to pick up the drapes (about 10 days or so later), they looked beautiful. Cindy even helped me out to the car with them. I am very happy with the service I received from Cindy at Drape Master. I highly recommend them. I am confident I can get at least 5 years or more out of the drapes, as they look brand new.
