After a lot of research and evaluating bids from 5 or 6 different contractors, I decided to go with Level Up Group Contracting. I had been let down by contractors before, so I was worried about going through the same frustration. Michael was reassuring and professional throughout the entire process from his initial consultation to the final touch-ups. Michael provided us with a defined scope of work, a written contract and great ideas on how to maximize space in our small basement (under 300 sq Ft.) From there, he coordinated a full demolition of the existing basement which took a day and a half. Michaels crew discovered a foundation crack which was quickly repaired by his subcontractor. We then met with Level Ups designer, Ashley, who worked with us and Michael to measure and design the new basement along with materials. Michael runs his own materials showroom where we could see samples of the material wed be using in the basement. We ended up with a quartz countertop in the laundry, electric fireplace, stone accent wall, cabinetry, new stairs and high-quality laminate flooring. Once everything was confirmed, construction began at the beginning of February. Even though it was cold and the middle of winter, Michaels crew showed up every day and worked efficiently to complete the job in six weeks, exactly what we were promised according to the contract. This included a full cleaning of the basement when everything was done. After finding a few deficiencies, Michael was quick to send his crew back to correct the smallest of issues such as a dim pot light and flapping doors. He even left us with extra paint in case we need to colour match in the future. The quality of finish and materials was great. Michael didnt cut corners with our job. Walls and the floor were properly insulated; plumbing and electrical were correctly and expertly installed by licensed people who were great to work with. Dont waste your time with the ladder and a truck guys or the big time TV/radio advertisers. Call Level Up Group and speak to Michael. I used Cargo Cabbie to move the contents of my basement into storage before a full demolition and renovation began. Cargo Cabbie arrived and safely wrapped and moved equipment and boxes for me including a multifunction printer, music gear and a trampoline. The crew was quick, efficient and well-prepared with packing material and hand trucks to move everything. When they returned the contents of my basement, there were a couple of casters that had come off of two storage bins, but everything else arrived in perfect condition. Overall, the service was excellent and you certainly get what you pay for.

We needed a railing for a split level dining room overlooking a living room. I had looked around for other glass companies before and had people come out and give quotes and never follow up. Vlad from Glass Ninja took a look and was quick to return, measure and offer suggestions. After the install, we noticed a manufacturing flaw in one of the panels. Vlad came back, saw the flaw and replaced the panel. Service was great and I'd highly recommend.
