Thank you for your support.One benefit of having Hunter Douglas blinds is that they are made to last. Cords do wear over time.A simple Cord replacement of any widow covering can bring it back to smooth operation.
We had a flood in one of our basement rooms during "Sandy". By sheer luck, the carpet company we usually use (Soft Surfaces)was by to do the annual cleaning. They have a flood resoration service and immediately helped clean up the flood in our basement using powerful dehumidifiers. Fred is knowledgeable, works quickly and had the area cleaned up in a short periond of time. I highly recommend this company!
I recently purchased a new coffee table for our living room. I went to the Chesterfield shop (they are my 'go to" store) as I have always bought my sofas from them. We had a slew of electrical problems in our house including a panel that did not meet code, breakers going off at random, and loose/wild wiring in the garage. Jerry (and his very able associate Krishna) did a great job. They came when they said they would come, they finished what they said they would finish when they said they would finish it, dealt with some unanticipated problems without increasing the price, made some great recommendations, and, overall, exceeded expectations. For example, I did not specify armoured cable and GFCI receptacles in the garage, but they did the right thing anyway. And the quote (we obtained 4 quotes) was very competitive.
