After checking a bunch of garden centres in the Oakville/Burlington area, we were most impressed with the end of season selection and pricing offered at Holland Park Gallery. We needed really tall trees to plant in our backyard, and one of the staff was really attentive to our needs. She spent almost an hour with us, explaining the benefits of certain trees, and even placed our final choices in a row so we could see how they all looked together. The prices were fantastic, an almost 70% savings. The trees are beautiful and healthy and are now starting to bloom again. The $400 mentioned above was for two birch trees and two mountain ash trees, each almost 15 feet tall and includes the delivery fee from Burlington to Oakville a few days after purchase. The trees look so pretty in our yard, and we happily recommend the quality of customer service and selection at Holland Park.

We had seen a 3 seater and matching love seat at Structube several months ago, and noticed recently that they were on sale. I contacted the store and was informed that the colour we wanted was going to be discontinued by the manufacturer, and Structube only had a few pieces in stock, including a display model loveseat that was in perfect condition. They offered a very good discount on the display model, and delivered both sofas within 2 weeks of ordering. One of the sales associates, Michael was extremely courteous, friendly and very informative in describing the quality of the furniture (Canadian made, high-end fabrication etc) which made us feel confident in our purchase. The sofas look great, we've received many compliments on them, and we are very pleased with our shopping experience at Structube in the Burloak plaza.

We hired Granite Edge in Mississauga to install Kashmir white granite countertops and a double-bowl undermount sink in our kitchen this year. They provided the most reasonable quote and time frame amongst companies we looked at. They have a very good selection of countertop materials to choose from (granite, marble, quartz) and you can view giant slabs at their warehouse. Amy was very helpful, explaining all the different edges available. She thoroughly detailed how pricing works, there were no hidden costs or surprises. Adolf took measurements and offered really good advice on colour selection and maintenance. The installation crew were speedy, and completed everything in one morning! It's amazing to see it all put together. No seams or join lines, just solid slabs of granite. We are very pleased with the end product, and professionalism of all the people involved. Our kitchen is transformed and it has added great re-sale value to our home.

We had been looking for a round table and chairs to fit our uniquely shaped dining room, and finally discovered HinLim Canada. Their selection of furniture is very impressive, with styles to suit a more design savvy customer (think BoConcept, WestElm or UrbanMode). Shweta was most kind in answering my questions both over the phone and via email, and she met with us to tour HinLim's showroom. Solid hardwood pieces, so you're getting great quality for a very affordable price. We were able to bring home our furniture (it's all neatly flat-packed) and assembled everything very quickly and easily that same afternoon. No need to shop at big box retailers, they simply don't have the contemporary style, quality or pricing offered by HinLim.

We recently contacted Reliance to repair a section of 636 Hot Water Tank pipe. They came in to do the work in a timely manner, and made the repairs to code without any hassle. The cost was all towards labour, as the run was less than 3 feet, we did not have to pay for materials, as per the tank rental agreement. In the past, we have had less than satisfactory results with Reliance, so this experience was a great improvement.

Sure-Loc just completed an extension of our driveway and front walkway with interlocking stone. The demo and install took one afternoon, with final touchups the following morning! Danny was extremely helpful in setting up the project, and also provided great suggestions for stone selection to complement our home. Gina was very approachable, and ensured we were completely happy with the end product. The excavation and install crews were unbelievably fast. The final cutting crew (Gio's team) are highly skilled and detail oriented. Gio especially took care to address a visual alignment issue by re-installing a section of stone to work perfectly with our design. Competitive pricing, and if you're looking for a quick install, a great company to go with. They were able to accomodate us later in the season than other companies with very little disruption to our lives.
