Great service for a really unique product. A huge selection of carpet tiles that will give your home a unique and custom looks without the cost. The sales staff pulled multiple carpet tiles for me and arranged them in various ways until I was completely satisfied and comfortable with my decision. They will patiently walk you through all the options and make it incredibly easy to get the information you need.
Great offering of simple pieces with a modern design that will fit as basics into any home. Every piece I purchased was relatively easy to assemble. The table I purchased was packed with the wrong bolt but the store replaced it with the correct part without any fuss. Definitely recommend for couches and larger pieces for your home.
Absolutely great selection of accessories and furniture. Really fabulous modern design sense that falls right into my personal design taste. Nicely laid out (not too many products shoved into a small space), really a great shopping experience. Staff is helpful but not pushy
The employees at the store have a decent knowledge of various projects, but I didn't find the service to be up to my expectations. They weren't the most friendly and courteous staff. I also found that most items weren't marked with the price so I had to ask for additional help with most of the items I as purchasing. The selection was good, and the location and parking was great.
Fast and helpful service - Downtown Lumber always has lots of knowledgeable staff on hand so my trips there are extremely efficient. They really prove that shopping at a big box store in the suburbs isn't always the best choice. Comparable prices on most items as well.
Went to Sescolite during one of their annual sales. Found a great, simple light fixture for the entrance to my condo. There were a few I was debating between and one of the staff members was INCREDIBLY helpful. One of the lights was not unlit and it took him a few tries before he got it working. They were very patient with me and provided great guidance
I was really impressed with the store's selection of home goods, but found everything to be overpriced. I was looking for a Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams sofa, but the price was much higher than I expected (huge markup for furniture in Canada compared to the US). Amazing rugs and kitchen hardware - but difficult to find help from staff. Only ended buying covers for floor vents.

Ciot is an absolutely beautiful store with inspiration at every corner. An incredible selection of tile. I found glass tile for my kitchen at $3 a sq foot. That price was unbeatable. I couldn't even find glass tile for double the price elsewhere. The staff was very helpful at locating additional tiles for me as the amount in stock was less than I required.
Kitchen - backsplash and faucet
Peel tile has an amazing selection of tiles for any need. I bought a beautiful mosaic tile for my backsplash at a very reasonable price. The staff was quite hands-off with me, but I didn't require a lot of help so I appreciated that I didn't have to deal with aggressive sales people. This may not be the place to go if you are looking for some hands on guidance with decorating decisions. They've also go a good selection of sale faucets. I bought my faucet at regular price, but it was the best value when compared to faucets at other stores.
Hi Meagan - thanks for the feedback. Im glad you enjoyed shopping in our showroom. We try to have a constant mix of product types - from traditionl to contemporary, low-price to designer quality and everything in between. We deinitely do not believe in a "pushy" environment, you are right. That being said, I am disappointed that we didnt offer you more service and suggestions. After all, most of our staff are experienced designers, and they love to help out ! Next time, please come see me and I will definitley make sure you get the creative advice that you should.
My original shopping experience with Pavilion was great, but unfortunately everything went down hill from there. Their staff was able to show me product beyond what they carry in store and I was able to find what I thought was the perfect sleeper couch in the perfect fabric. I was told delivery would be 8-12 weeks, but usually the couches were delivered in 6. On week 10 I called the store to see what the status of my couch was and after 24 hours they returned my call to tell me that the fabric I order was out of stock and wouldn't be available for another 8-12 weeks. It took them TEN weeks to notify me of this change. I was not happy. Tried to get my money back and they refused to return my 60% deposit. I ended up settling for a fabric I didn't like nearly as much as my original choice. The manager was rude and unsympathetic to the problem.
Absolutely love the product selection and quality at West Elm. Beautiful colours and coordinating accessories. Easy to find staff for all your questions and requests. Classically designed pieces with modern touches. My only complaint, is that I wish it was easier to order and ship custom pieces to Canada.
