My husband and I love going to the Lighting Center, not just for lighting, but just because it's a cool place to visit! It has a great atmosphere, and is very visually appealing. We bought a lamp from there a few months ago - very unique and affordable!
I love this place. They're small, but have great selection and service. The staff are friendly and helpful, and obviously are passionate about what they do. It's nice to have help/advice from someone who knows what they're talking about when it comes to buying fabrics/accessories.
My husband and I are newlyweds who were given most of our furniture/accessories. Unfortunately, one of our donated lamps broke recently, so we went to Home Depot to find a new lighting for our apartment. We loved the variety that they offered, and were able to find something within our budget to replace the broken lamp. Great service, very helpful employees.
I am always very satisfied and in for a surprise when I shop at Fabricland. There used to be one located quite near to me in Oakville, but it unfortunately was closed down several years ago. The sales are always great - I can always find just what I need, plus more (so many sales that I can't pass up). They have a wide range of higher end fabrics, and great bargain bins with precut fabric. Always happy with my experiences at this vendor.
My husband and I have had multiple successful purchases from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Most recently we were were looking for a small, durable garbage can for our tiny apartment bathroom. We decided to go to Bed, Bath, and Beyond, because they offer a selection of high quality garbage can brands that we knew we knew would be both attractive, practical, and stand the test of time. The employees there were helpful in showing us what our options were. In the end we went with a small, semi-round Simple Human can. We've had it for several months - exactly what we needed. We're very happy, and will be going again.
