West Elm carries some amazing products, however I didn't have the best shopping experience. I went into the store knowing exactly what i wanted, however it didn't seem like the sales staff cared. When i was finally able to track down a sales person, she promised to check on stock and return, however instead started helping other people and didn't help me until i approached her again after waiting 20 minutes. If i didn't really love the bed, i would've just walked out.

Mike and his team just completed waterproofing work on the back and side of my house. He was very good about keeping me posted on the progress and i was impressed with how the team always kept everything neat and tidy after a day's work. The finished product looks great and I'm looking forward to bringing his team back for additional work in the spring.

My AC unit stopped working about 2 years ago and the maintenance guy from another company at the time charged me about $600 to fix the unit and advised me that the quality was poor and i should consider purchasing a new unit. Fast forward to 2012, the unit stops working again and i called Sychem to replace it. Instead of replacing the unit, they adjusted some things and had it working again! instead of the $3000 it would've cost me for a new unit, i only had to pay $70 for the maintenance visit.

I had an old lacquered wooden box that i wanted to repaint, so i decided to venture to Canadian tire to find some paint and paint supplies. The young salesperson at the paint counter was very helpful and patient with me. He walked me through the process of what i needed to do to prep my box in order to be painted and recommended the type of paint that i would need. The experience was great and my project looked amazing.

The one and only toilet in my condo broke on Easter Sunday when every business is closed for the day. I called Mr. Rooter and someone showed up within a couple hours. Although it took a while to fix, the job was eventually completed. 2 months later, it turned out the toilet wasn't installed properly and was slowly leaking to the unit below. i contacted Mr. Rooter again and they immediately sent someone over to fix the issue. Long story short i was happy that the team at mr.rooter was able to fix my toilet properly and fix the damages caused by their initial installation.

My AC was acting up in the dead of summer and i knew i needed to get someone to come in to look at it. My initial concern was that i wouldn't be able to get someone for weeks since summer was their busiest months of the year. Luckily they were able to send someone out within only a couple of days...which was great. the not so great thing was that it took the person about 5 days to figure out what was wrong (removed the unit from my condo). The good thing was that he was able to make the recommendation to keep it for a few more years before paying the hefty fee to replace it.

I'm a very indecisive person and John was able to help me choose the right matting and frame to accentuate the painting but also match my living room (with just a photo). And on top of it all, he personally dropped it off and put the framed piece up on my wall for me.
