We decided to give Weed Man a try when they showed up at our door Winter of 2012. After 4-5 months of their service, we noticed absolutely NO difference in our lawn. We were still getting weeds. Then the calls started! They would call 2 times a week offering more services, telling us we have grubs and they're killing our lawn (we had no grubs), it got to the point we were blocking their calls. When it came to canceling the service, it took 5 calls and a letter copied to the Better Business Bureau for them to cancel our service. Every time we called, we would get a call in a day or two saying they will begin the following years service and they had NO record of cancelation. I will never trust this company again.

We had Shipton's in to install our gas stove and they called to say they were in the neighbourhood early, can the come now. I was pleasantly surprised. The gentleman was so professional! We recently called them back to inspect our furnace and again, we were extremely pleased with their professionalism. Prices were fair and service was excellent!! They will always be our first choice!

We are extremely displeased with this company as a builder. They smashed our brand new air conditioner and 6 months later, we're still waiting for them to fix it. They promised the dividing walls would block sound but all I can hear every day is our neighbours stereo. Our neighbours are great but heavy smokers and they smoke in their garage, the smell permeates right into ours so badly but Empire told us they are not responsible for making the garage air tight (kind of a safety issue, if you ask me). The quality of paint is terrible! Comes off if you try to wash a pencil mark off the wall. The appliances they provided were installed broken and Empire says they are not responsible for taking care of it once you move in. The cupboards were all installed crooked. This is just a few things of the problems we've had. I'm already looking into selling our home after 1 year.
