Edsart in Toronto

This was a late winter fibre-cement siding installation, and aluminum replacement for our entire home (detached). We were quoted 50k (all-in), but ran into some remedial costs with rotten boards and insulbrick removal. One of our pipes also froze during the job, but Eduart covered the emergency plumber costs. Honestly, I attribute all of these issues to working on a 100-year-old home. Note that we were quoted on this job before the recent spike in material prices (timber incl.). We're happy with how the project went: - We received quotes from 5 contractors. Eclipse provided the most transparent quote and we're good at responding to my questions. Transparency and accountability mattered more than costs to us. - Our house borders two triplexes and another home (i.e., 6 different set of neighbours) and there are some narrow spaces between our walls and our neighbour's garages, cars and trees. The team did a good job communicating what was happening every day, or what they needed, so I could inform the neighbours. They respected the neighbour's property and space, and left the site clean at the end of the day. - It's been a month since the job was completed and we continue to be happy. Reli was our site supervisor, and he strikes me as someone who takes a lot of pride in his work. I didn't have to micro-manage much. The team is professional, works hard and just gets stuff done.
