I am sorry in getting this review in, but let me tell you it was worth the wait. My husband and I interviewed a few contractors to do the job of stucco and stone on our home. We met David and William. And decided right on the spot that they would be the contractor to hire for our job. They were both extremely professional. Through onsite meetings, phone calls, text messages and emails, they were all professional and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. We are ecstatic with the level of service they provided. Generally speaking, the contractor business these days is mediocre at best, but let me tell you, these guys came through with flying colours. If there was an issue, they worked with us to resolve it. In fact, there was an issue with our front porch, but within 15 minutes of talking it through, we resolved it. And it worked out great. William is creative and offers great suggestions in design and workmanship. The quality of the products used were wonderful. Turnaround times for getting the work done were quick and the crews who worked on the various aspects of the project were polite, friendly, worked safe and were very clean. We would definitely recommend David and William (Exterior by Design Stucco and Stone Inc.) In fact, just today, I gave their contact information to someone. Great job guys! I just wish I had found them sooner and had our home done earlier. My husband and I do not hesitate to recommend David and William to anyone who are looking at getting stucco or stone work done.

We hired Azevedo Kitchens to build our custom mill work for our complete basement renovation. Herberto was a joy to work with. He was professional, honest and upfront. He is an expert in his field. He was extremely helpful in getting our dream basement renovation den and on time! We had a designer plan out our space but Herberto made some great suggestions to enhance her designs. It worked out great! The feature wine rack in walnut with the walnut top on our shoe storage looks fabulous. we get so many compliments on the work done! Herberto also did a fantastic job in hiding the structural beam. No one can tell that it's a beam! It's also a dream now to do laundry in the great laundry room we have and a pleasure to look at great and functional cabinetry. I already have plans in mind for the next couple of projects I want Azevedo Kitchens to do for us! A sincere "Thank You" to Herberto and his team for a fantastic job!!!

We hired them to do our driveway after seeing them at a home show. Took a few calls to get them to start the job. Should have been a sign then. We paid a $700 deposit. After a number of calls, they finally came to tear off the old asphalt. That was back in June. Again after a number of calls and broken promises, no one showed up to drop more stome and regrade thdriveway. We are done with them! I should have paid closer attention to the other review. Same situation. I think they get the contracts and then get someone else to do the job. Will not recommend them to anyone.

Our designer hired AA Floors and More to install hand scraped engineered hardwood flooring. The actual flooring was really nice. But that was the extent of it. They did not come out to do a site visit and allowed th contractor (who they were familiar with) do the measurements. Had AA Floors come out to see the site visit, they would have recommended that the concrete floors be prepared for installation. Because it was a concrete basement floor, there were some low spots. There were 3 attempts at installing the flooring. There are still "dips" and many creaks! I am not happy with AA Floors, and not happy with our contractor. AA Floors would not provide any compensation for missed deadlines and installation of other work that was scheduled. We didn't even get a "heartfelt sorry" from them. The manufacturer of the flooring went over and above to try and resolve the situation. The first installer "Peter" and his helper?? was not helpful or personable at all. The last person they sent to do the final installation was probably the most professional of all. And he wasnt even a full time employee. Slava did the best job he could with the uneven condition of the floor. I would recommend Slava to do any floor installation, but I would not use AA Floors again.

I searched HomeStars for a good carpet cleaning company with good reviews. I found Ben. I read the reviews and he is exactly as everyone describes. Very knowledgeable about carpets. When I called, he happened to be near my house. He was there within the hour. He picked up our carpet that same day. We asked that he remove the fringe from the carpet. He did a great job along with a great cleaning! I would recommend his services to others. Very polite, quick and a man of his word!

We used ACSS for two storage bins during a renovation. Every person I spoke to or dealt with at ACSS was professional, courteous and very helpful. There was a glitch dropping off the containers as one of their trucks had mechanical issues. But it was quickly rectified, the containers were dropped off the next day. The driver was very friendly and even made the effort to come back at the end of the day to pick up our packed containers. We are very satisfied so far! Great job ACSS. Anyone needing storage containers should consider them!

We needed a new roof, so I started the process of researching roofing companies. We had 4 quotes. Two of the quotes were from roofing companies on Homestars (MegaCity was one of the two companies). I was impressed by the reviews written about MegaCity Roofing. I called MegaCity roofing and Tom came out that same day for an estimate. He explained the products and the process. He was polite, friendly and very professional. My husband and I chose MegaCity to replace our roof! Tom and his crew came out and arrived on time. They set up their job properly (all safety guards in place!) and started the work. Our bungalow is under 1000 square feet. They finished the job in about six hours! And the finished product? Looks absolutely beautiful. I am actually excited about a roof! Tom made the process of replacing our roof painless! We would recommend Tom and MegaCity Roofing company to anyone who needs their roof done! Thank you again for a fantastic job Tom! We are extremely pleased we chose them!

We hired Consumers Choice through flyers we received in the mail. The sales associate was knowledgable. The installers were great too. On time, clean and professional. We did have a problem with one window that was not measured correctly. They quickly rushed another window and that was installed. We have shutters and the person measuring did not allow for the extra space needed, but the installer did an awesome job in getting them done! Cusps to the installers! Reasonable price and reasonable timeframe for order and install.

We hired Spectral LV to replace all of our lights inside our home to LED lights. Tony came to do the job, he recommended what lights/ colours we would like. He was quick with the installation and was tidy! He also recommended LED lights for our garage (inside and outside) along with our shed lights. I love the lights and love the low hydro bill even more! Thank you Spectral LV helping us reduce our carbon footprint too!

The guys came over and completed the job in 2 visits. They did a great job on reglazing our cast iron claw foot tub! They were neat and tidy and completed the job fairly quickly. It did however take a long time to book these guys, so if you need the work done, call them now.

Tony was very knowledgeable and provided great advice on our lighting upgrade. He was professional and did a great job. I would not hesitate recommending Tony to do any lighting job!

The work that was done was great! The guys did a great job, they were quick, clean and friendly. They did an amazing job reglazinf the tub and it looks amazing. Angela (office manager) was great in setting up the whole thing. The communication from the company was professional and extremely detailed! Great job you guys! I will recommend THETUBGUYS to anyone!
