Chermark was contracted to carry out an extenisve renovation project of our basement that involved the finishing of added living space including an office, family room and closet space. This was not the type of job for an inexperienced contractor given the necessity for several trades i.e. plumbing, gas fitting, electrical, hvac, dry wall finishing, carpentry, etc., and in the end, Mark Wilson and his team performed beyond our expectations creating a bright, warm and cozy space for our family and friends to enjoy for years to come. During the construction they also provided a friendly work environment that allowed my wife Linda to feel comfortable at all times while at home during the work, and demonstrated flexibility with any last minute project changes even offering up their own ideas at times to make the changes even better.
As a Quality Manager I am understanding of not only customer needs, but also their wants and as such, pay close attention to the small details that contribute to the overall satisfaction of a customer. Chermark delivered a home run for us and as promised, completed the project on time just before Christmas to provide the added entertainment space we had hoped for; the slate pool table we had installed shortly after, and the play area built for the grand kids were clearly a hit over the holidays. EVERYONE who has since visited has provided positive commentary re: the quality of workmanship and notable upgrade in our house value. We will not hesitate to call upon Chermark in the future if ever another home renovation project comes along.
