I'm a repeat customer of Love Your Stairs. After doing a great job installing stair carpets last year, I asked Rizwan back to install carpet in a bedroom, and to lay down a large area rug in the basement (cut from a carpet roll and bound). Rizwan was again very professional, and responded quickly to any questions or proposed changes. Mark did a great job on the installs, arrived early, and was very easy to work with.

I cannot say enough good things about MDT. They rebuilt my deck in April and I am extremely happy with the results. I contacted 5 Toronto-area deck contractors to quote on replacing my old ground-level deck that was falling apart due to moisture issues and carpenter ants. Chris from MDT was one of the few people to actually call me back rather than email, and he gave me a ton of information on the phone and answered all of my questions. One of the first things he said to me was "if you're looking for a cheap and fast low-quality rebuild, we're not the people for you". Chris came to my house twice to look at the old deck and to discuss options for materials and design. It was clear that he was very proud of the work they do. I opted for cedar decking, and although their quote was a bit higher than the others, I selected MDT because of their excellent communication, pride of work, longer warranty, and more detailed payment schedule. John contacted me to schedule the rebuild, and he was a pleasure to work with. John and Diego arrived on schedule, and they worked hard to complete the demolition and rebuild within a reasonable time. These guys don't rush. They're trim carpenters and they pay very close attention to detail. Following demolition, they put down landscaping fabric and gravel to reduce weed growth. The deck board spacing is consistent (I have no drainage issues now), all screws line up perfectly, and the surrounding planters made from 4x4s are beautifully built.

I am extremely happy with the work done by J Stewart Roofing. John came to my house to discuss options and submitted a quote the next day. The team that performed the work was very professional and conscientious. They protected the property from any damage from falling debris and they cleaned up so well after that I couldn't tell that they were here at all. They also coordinated seamlessly with a skylight installation that was being done at the same time by Skylights Unlimited. The roofing work was expected to take 2 days, but they found issues on my roof that added 2 more days to the job. John didn't raise the price, and when I asked him about that, he replied "that's ok, the work is complete and I'm glad you're happy with the results". My neighbour was impressed, and contacted them to work on her roof.

I am extremely happy with the work done by Skylights Unlimited. Denis advised me on the type, location, and number of skylights to install in my loft bedroom. I went with two, each with solar powered room darkening blinds, and one with solar powered opener. I asked if I should replace an old dome skylight in my bathroom, and he said 'no, it's fine, you should leave it as is'. Ed and Brian did a fabulous job on the installation. They put down tarps and runners where needed, and did a thorough cleanup after. I also asked Denis if he could recommend a roofing company to replace my roof. He did, and suggested that the roof work could be done during the skylight installation. He coordinated with that company (J. Stewart Roofing), and I am very happy with the results.

I'm very impressed with Hoerner Heating and Plumbing. La and Cole arrived at 8:30 am for a 9-11 arrival window. They were both very professional and very nice. They assessed the issues and provided me with a solution and reasonable price very quickly. They removed one shutoff value and replace another in my basement, and replaced an outdoor faucet and small section of pipe that had burst last winter. I will definitely call Hoerner again for future plumbing issues.
