I came home after a long day and found that my kitchen sink was plugged. I went on Homestars right away that night and found an email response from Ecano first in my thing in the morning. Ed came over that afternoon and was able to unplug my sing. He was kind, professional, and unplugged my sink and charged me what I thought was a great price ($272). I recently called him to replace my old faucet and he did a great job with that as well. Just super happy with him and I feel very grateful that I found a plumber who is fair and who I can trust.

The door to my daughter's room is a pocket door, and after 40 years it was falling off the rails and not closing properly. I needed to get it replaced, but didn't know where to start then went on HomeStarts. Danny was the only contractor that got back to me and I was so thankful. Danny came over within the week and put in in a new pocket door right away. I was impressed with his knowledge, his skills and his willingness to help. As a single mom, it's hard for me to find a person that I can trust who can help me with small to big jobs. As Danny has such a diversity of skills (he seems to be able to do any job), I feel lucky that I now have someone who I can call to help me at a fair price. I totally recommend him!

The upper floor of my house was in desperate need of a paint job as it was last painted 13 years ago by my ex and was a sage green and golden yellow. Although I wanted to repaint, it was difficult to do on my own because of the high ceilings above the stairwell. I received one quote, just for the stairwell and it was $1,000 and this was too expensive. A couple of months ago I received a flyer in my mailbox from Student Works and decided to give them a call. Tristen came by within a week and quoted me $1,200 for the entire upper floor and stairwell using the Duplex high quality paint. It felt like a great deal so I went for it. He and his two workers were able to complete the job in 1 day and it looks great! It makes me so happy to be in my space now, and I'm very greatful that I took the chance and called student works.
