Andre has been very agreeable in working with us on our budget, and was the only company to make suggestions to help us even out high/low areas in our subfloor - other companies just wanted to install and void and problems caused by the subfloor without doing anything to help the problem.
Our old furnace broke down and Spencer was able to give us a great price on a new furnace and did a wonderful job in the installation, even cleaning up the install work that another company had done when putting in our central air.
We first hired Richard to do the plumbing rough-in and install of a basement bathroom and were happy enough with his work to hire him again to do the plumbing in our upstairs bathroom reno. He was also a great help in sourcing fixtures and giving advice on ways we could design our bathroom. He worked cleanly, and never left a mess in the house, even wearing little plastic covers over his boots.
Refinished hardwood on main level
They were the cheapest company of the three we had give estimates for our 60 yr old hardwood floors, and they did a descent job. I wouldn't quite say great, because they let us come back into the house before the urethane was fully hardened, which meant furniture left impressions, but they came and touched those up a bit when we complained. Overall, they were worth the money.
