I also had a negative experience with this so called repairman Simon when I called this company regarding my washing machine. He was not even there 5 minutes and did not take anything apart to investigate, just turned the machine on and listened for a few seconds then said the motor needed replacing at a of cost $600.00. When I asked how he could determine this without any further investigation he simply pointed to his head. A friend who is not a repairman later checked out the machine and found nothing wrong with the motor so I called the company back and once again heard from Simon who now claimed the transmission was on it's way out. My friend has since repaired the machine by replacing the brake at a cost of under $200.00 and I have done several loads of laundry since.

Since moving into my apartment unit three years ago I have been dealing with an ongoing odour problem coming from under the kitchen sink. In May 2011, I started smelling a musty odour on the other side of the wall in my livingroom, coming from the baseboards and the electrical outlet. I had to have the windows open because of the odour and musty smell, so once it got humid I could not run the AC unit and I had to temporarily move in with my mother. In October 2011, I had Tara Valley do mold and environmental testing to determine the source of the odour as I was getting no help from property management. She was able to detect the odour immediately, where a previous inspector, several weeks earlier could not, and when the various pieces of equipment showed nothing related to mold, she made a second visit several days later to check the drains in the apartment with another piece of equipment. The second visit determined the odour to be drain related. Tara was very thorough in her inspection and I would highly recommend her to anyone with an enviromental issue they need checked out, be it mold or otherwise. She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She determined the problem in my unit where the other inspector, who charged more and did less, failed to!
