Full Home Window and Door replacement
I cannot overstate the exceptional experience I had with MaxGreen for my full-home window and door replacement. Trevor-sales, Jim-construction management, and the construction installation team of Bryce and Emile were the best. The whole process and results were amazing. I have hired many, many contractors over the 18 years I have been in my home and I can honestly say no one has delivered as this company has! The selection and planning phase was diligent and thorough. The installation team was exceptional; they were so professional, skilled, hardworking and their attention to detail is something else. The final product looks and performs beyond my expectations, and everyone comments on how great the windows and beautiful front entry look. It has definitely, increased the curb appeal and value of my home. The quality of the Plygem windows and doors is excellent and at a competitive price point through MaxGreen. Most importantly though, out of the four quotes I received, none of the other companies incorporate the retrofits into the building envelope. This is an essential part of waterproofing and protecting your investment. A higher-priced and large competitor balked at this idea and told me that caulking was sufficient. Do your research. As for the installation process, that is by far the most important part of a window or door replacement project. Without proper tie in to the building envelope, even the best made windows will still leak over time and not perform properly, leading to much more expenses down the road. So many low cost companies have come and go over the years in the Calgary Window and Door market, which really shows how important it is to choose the right installation that will last for the long term, and ensuring the companies hired are charging enough to stay in business for the long term, while also providing the value you deserve.
