Re: work order 316926 I paid $379 for a dishwasher door and $135 to fix ice maker. I told the company that the dishwasher door spring had broken and could they bring this part so that I would only require one visit. They said yes but the technician did not have any parts when he arrived. Had to take off a half a day two times. Had to pay for two fuel surcharges on the first visit (a fuel surcharge for each appliance even though it was only one trip) and then another fuel surcharge for the second visit.

Paul came in to fix a condo reno job gone bad. My drawers weren't working properly and there were a few other problems. Paul was honest about what needed to done and offered various solutions to the problem. I have already highly recommended him to a friend of ours.

Had new wood flooring done throughout our condo. The selection was great - they had all sorts of options, the staff were very friendly and the installation was great. My floors look great.

Excellent source for door knobs and handles. They have a huge selection of knobs and handles. Staff are very helpful and really know there stuff. Also got really nice pocket door hardware and lock set.

He is a crook. His company was written about in the Thornhill Liberal as one of the scam snow removal companies. Like the other reviewers noted that as soon as he cashed the january 2011 cheque he disappeared & his phone was disconnected.

We hired Mike to build a new deck for us this summer. He seemed like an honest person and said he is "a man of his word". He did not plan the deck properly and as a result we ended up with deck stairs that do not meet the building codes (the height and depth vary considerably from step to step which is a hazard). We had mentioned to Mike several times that we were concerned that his plan would not allow enough room for the stairs and he promised they would be fine. He said that he would plot out with stringers where the stairs would go and would show us to make sure everything was fine. He did not do this and one day we came home and the stairs were done incorrectly. Also, he promised to secure the interlocking brick under the deck so that the bricks would not shift. He did not do this & I only discovered this by going under the deck and looking at the work, Mike promised 3 times to come and fix his work but he did not show up to correct/fix the problem. Unfortunately we gave him too much money up front so I guess it wasn't worth his trouble to come and finish the job properly. Not professional at all. *Dan from Eco deck sent someone out to fix the stairs on our deck this spring. Richard came out and solved the original problem. Richard did a great job and I would definitely have Richard do work for us again.

I am extremely happy with my new custom glass shower door. I have received several compliments on how lovely it looks. The finished product makes my bathroom renovation look top notch. Everyone at Marlin Mirror was extremely helpful & professional. The attention to detail really impressed me.
