I had an air-conditioner installed in May. On payment (by cheque) the installer (also the owner) told me he left my receipt and warranty back at the office and would drop it by. Having dealt with Cumberland numerous times I had no reason to believe there would be an issue. I have called them every month since then requesting a copy of my invoice and warranty, and followed up recently with a letter, and so far I have had no response from them. Now I am worried that the unit installed was used or reconditioned, I have nothing to prove it was new, nothing to prove it is under warranty, nothing to prove I received what I paid for. I am only asking for my receipt and cannot understand why a company would not provide one.

I was so pleased with the excellent work. It was a huge job involving old wallpaper removal, prepping the walls and painting. In spite of the fact that it involved such a large area of my home we were never inconvenienced and the area was spotless at the end of each day. My house has those dated popcorn ceilings. I had just one ceiling done to see how it would turn out (family room); and had them paint the walls at same time - I am so pleased with their work that I am going to have them come back to do the rest of the ceilings/painting in my house. They were the only place that were confident about painting oak cupboards and had the best warranty on their work - maybe a bit more than couple of other place but definitely worth it. They were clean, efficient and knowledgeable. It turned out even better than I hoped. Thank you Paint Core Finishes, I love my kitchen!
