This is scary now after reading the comments about groupon -I too have one to use. I have the same story - an appointment was booked then cancelled as they said the eaves would be frozen. They did say the time would be extended but now I'm not sure...

We have used Schwimmer (east) for 3-4 years now. Eric and Peter are fabulous! They are scheduled to come on wednesday's and have never missed an appointment. We never worry as we know that they are so reliable you could set your clocks by them! They work hard and make our pool and spa beautiful and in tip top working order. They accommodate any request for troubleshooting and explain things well. We love them - they're just like our sons if we had any! Use this company you won't ever regret it!

Tony is fantastic. He did a great job - on time and as per estimate. He sealed a large picture window that was leaking. Another company had done work on the same problem and did not solve the issue and would not stand behind their work. Tony not only guarantees his work , he follows up to ensure everything is OK. Would highly recommend him.

Precision Window Cleaning is a fantastic choice if you want great service, reliability and integrity of estimate and the quality of work. Brandon and his crew of 3 (Rob, Kyle and Graydon) arrived right on time and got to work immediately. All of them super guys! We are still blown away by the quality of cleaning - they not only clean the windows but wipe down the screens and ensure every bit of debris is picked up. Call these guys - you won't regret it! We will not hestitate to use them again!!

We have had a leak from a light fixture in our basement coming from a large picture window on the main floor. Two other semi-professional people re-caulked the window but it still leaked when it rained. This past two weeks, with so much rain, the problem was getting worse. We checked and found FIXERONTHEROOF - looked at their site and read the reviews and policies and liked what we saw. Dealing with them has been a pleasure. The window had been fixed as per their quote and also on time. Even as I write, it's pouring outside and the ceiling fixture in the basement is DRY. So, am I happy with this Company? Would I recommend them? YOU BET!!!! Thanks for the great work Barb.

We used Homestars to find a waterproofing company and I am thrilled with the work done by Mud Monkeys. Darby has a terrific crew of fellows especially Nick and Troy and Mark. The were efficient and conscientious in everything they did as well as a pleasure to deal with. We had major water problems and they worked diligently to fix all the areas needed. Our only disappointment was that we offered to adopt all the guys and they turned us down! They are welcome back anytime!

I purchased a new furnace and air conditioning system from United Energy in 2005. The install went well and I was satisified. The first season I used the furnace the heat kept going out and I was without heat at least 5 times that winter. I would call for service and it would take mutliple phone calls to get help. I complained and the company replaced the thermostat free of charge. I was satisified. This year the humidifer was leaking so I had to turn it off. I started calling service at the start of November - I received one phone call and Ethan, he advised me, Steve would call me but they were busy with people without heat. After a week or so with no calls I started calling them every day - they have an answering service only - you never reach anyone in the company. I did however, manage to get Ethan's cell number and started calling there as well. It is now THREE months since I started my calls and to date they have not called me back! ( I was even suffering from nosebleeds during this time due to the dryness) Other than getting in the car and sitting in front of their office I was at a loss as to what to do. I have since called [another company] and they came out immediately to fix the problem. I will never deal with United Energy again and regret having chosen them to install the furnance - I would rather deal with a company that follows through!
