Excellent service. My regular pool company told me they thought I had a major leak and could not deal with it until end of June. They did not do any leak detection. I decided to get a second opinion and I am very glad I did. I phoned several pool companies and got lots of recorded messages because it is the busy season. I phoned lakeshore and got Peter right away. I explained the problem and he recommended proper leak detection to determine the extant of the problem and a proper quote. They scheduled it within a week. They came when promised and did a proper leak test. The test revealed a very minor problem and Regan fixed it that day. A major nightmare turned into a very minor problem. Thank you from a very grateful customer.

Fantastic. I wish I had found M & D buildings years ago. Michael and Michael are the best. My job was not easy as it consisted of a major reconstruction and renovation. Here is what makes them the best: 1. They were easy to contact and communicate with. 2. Their quote was the best. Other companies quoted 50 to 100 % more 3. They came several times to go over all the details and made sure they knew exactly what was needed. 4. They said the job would be done in a week and it was. Whereas other companies quoted 3 weeks to a month . 5. They did lots of details that I did not consider . 6. The reconstruction looks better than the original 7. The bathroom renovation has had many compliments 8. They made time to come back and finish work that was dependent on other companies delivery. I have recommended them to many friends and colleagues. Thanks very much

After mold remediation in my home I needed a company to clean the ducts and upholstery. I turned to homestars. I found 416 so clean who could do all the work I needed. I love their online quotes and scheduling,. They came when scheduled and the cost was the same as quoted. Everything was explained before and after to my complete satisfaction. After I have the reconstruction done I will have 416 in to clean th ducts again. P.S. They did a much better duct cleaning job than other companies I used in the past. Thank you Mitre and Mathew

Warning: This is a horror story. In April 2012, Home Depot installed a new kitchen in my home that I had previously purchased from them. I have been happy with the kitchen and minor issues were fixed promptly. What I did not know at the time was that 3 three inch screws were used to attach an upper and lower cabinet right into a sewage plumbing stack behind the wall. Fast forward to February 2014. My 19 year old daughter got very ill over a period of 6 weeks. After many tests she was diagnosed with a rare respiratory condition. After months of treatment she got better but continues to be plagued with skin, digestive, and headache problems. She was away from the house between fall 2014 and spring 2015 returning to the house in 2015. For myself I experienced digestive, fatigue, and insomnia problems from 2013 onwards. In 2014 and 2015 I caught flu and colds constantly. I developed severe allergy symptoms that did not improve despite the season. In October 2015 I noticed some dampness and staining at the bottom of the basement stairs carpet that did not go away. The basement was finished before I bought the home. I called in a plumber to investigate. As he started removing drywall the mold could be seen. The plumber kept investigating until he uncovered the source of the leaking and mold to be 3 three inch screws in the sewage plumbing stack behind the kitchen cabinets. I immediately contacted my insurance and Home Depot. I even went directly to the store I dealt with and emailed the customer rep pictures of the damage. My next step was to find a mold remediation company and mold inspector. I found both on homestars. We left the home and it took a month for the remediation to be complete. The mold levels in the entire home air space were chaetomium and stachybotrys both elevated. Commonly referred to as toxic mold plus other types of nasty mold. It is now February 2016. So far I have spent 10s of thousands of dollars on remediation and I haven't even got to the reconstruction part. Numerous visits to medical specialists for myself and kids. This is the response I got from Home Depot on November 18.0, 2015 "You may direct your legal representative to complete kitchens, who is investigating the claim you have presented. Home Depot is no longer involved in this matter" I have no idea who their subs contractors are or care because I hired Home Depot. They have managed to give out my private phone number and email address to their so called sub contractors. With one of them I was being harassed via phone and email to the point I retained a lawyer. With the other one their insurance company is phoning me to get in contact with the sub contractor. I did warn you that this was a horror story. The bottom line is to never hire Home Depot to install anything because they do not stand behind the work or care about their customers.

If you ever suspect that you have mold in your home then you should contact 360 inspections. A long story but the short version: I purchased a kitchen and installation from a large US/Canadian store in 2012. Unknown to me was that when they installed the kitchen they screwed the uppers and lowers into a sewage plumbing stack behind the kitchen wall. Fast forward to Oct. 2015 after many illnesses for my family, we started to notice some moisture and staining at the bottom of the basement stairs in the carpet. Called in the plumbing services from Enercare and after lots of investigation and finding mold they determined what had happened above. I started looking immediately for a remediation company on homestars. CRS was the only one that returned my call - thank you Aris. What was great was that CRS recommended a mold inspector to come and find out what we were dealing with. CRS (Aris) and 360 Inspections (Tyler) came together to inspect and agree upon the remediation needed. CSR took direction from the Tyler after he had all the lab results back. The levels of toxic mold in the entire home were terrible and we were told to leave the home until the work and testing was done (we already had left given what was revealed). Tyler made sure to follow-up with the remediation work and directed them to expand the work they were doing to his specifications. Tyler re-tested the entire home and we did not return until he gave us the all clear. Tyler really went the extra distance and give me follow-up advice on next steps.

I would give these guys 100 stars if I could. A long story but the short version: I purchased a kitchen and installation from a large US/Canadian store in 2012. The other top rated ones on homestars did not return a single call. What was great was that CRS recommended a mold inspector to come and find out what we were dealing with ( 360 inspection services - see my review for them). CRS (Aris) and 360 Inspections (Tyler) came together to inspect and agree upon the remediation needed. CSR took direction from the mold inspector after he had all the lab results back. The levels of toxic mold in the entire home were terrible and we were told to leave the home until the work and testing was done (we already had left given what was revealed). CSR took direction from the mold inspector which I really appreciated. They included extra work based on the mold inspectors recommendation and did not charge me over the original estimate. The remediation work was top notch and they even discovered more screws in the sewage plumbing stack once they removed that part of the kitchen. They did save the kitchen doors and granite which will save money in the long run. Aris and the guys a big thanks from me and my family.

This company had been recommended to me. I went to their showroom on several occaisions and found a hardwood floor I liked to do an entire house. I went in January to get an additional sample of the flooring I liked to show the kitchen designer. The salesperson said the flooring was on sale and I should buy it now. I told them I did not need it until March and they said no problem, the wood would be held for me if I bought it now. Well, i did buy it and nothing was said about returns or re-stocking. BEWARE: read the fine print. My contractor finished with the job in March and had a lot of boxes left. He went to return it to the company and they refused to take it as they said it was a 30 day return policy. The salesperson was horrible and swore at my contractor. I go the name of the store manager and left a message explaining the situation and asked for a return call. NO return calls. This company is all about getting the sale.. After the sale the customer service is the worst.

We are happy that our many years of great service and excellent reputation resulted in you being referred to us, and we honestly did all we could to please you. However, your comments are inaccurate and misleading.

Our time-limited return policy, which is clearly evident on our invoices and on signs all over our showroom, is not arbitrary. It is required because of the nature of the products we sell.

As was explained to you, hardwood flooring is an organic product that is very sensitive to climate. It must be kept within certain temperature and humidity levels to maintain its quality. Storing the flooring in areas such as basements or garages, even for a relatively short period, can have serious detrimental effects and render it unsellable.

Thus, we advise all of our customers to: carefully measure the amount of flooring needed to avoid undue excess; take the flooring home as close as possible to the actual installation date to ensure that it is not stored in less than optimum climate conditions; and for the same reason, return any excess product to us as soon as possible.

You elected not to follow our advice.

The flooring you selected happened to be on sale at the time, so we offered to let you buy it at the reduced price well in advance of when needed and to store it for you free of charge. Instead, you took the hardwood home rather than leave it with us until installation a couple of months later.

Furthermore, you bought way too much flooring as your measurements were grossly inaccurate.

Lastly, you took your time in returning the extra material. Had you simply left the flooring with us until just before installation as we recommended, all of this could have been avoided.

Our employee swearing at your contractor is a completely untrue fabrication. Customer service is paramount to us, and all customers are treated with respect and dignity.

We understand that you are frustrated, but we would ask that you not try to blame us for your own errors.

I contacted Derek to look at removing a lot of large cedars and bushes from a backyard retaining wall. In addition, there was a large tree very close to the pool. Derek was very quick to come and look at the work to be done. His quote was very reasonable. The work was done in one day and very neatly done. His crew cut down 6 large 20 ft cedars, 4 bushes and 1 large 30 ft ash tree. Thank you

One of the best moving companies I have had the pleasure to deal with. I got many quotes from reputable companies and Moveworks was the best. The quote was very reasonable. The company sent 4 professional movers and two vans on move day. They arrived on time and were very careful with moving items from the old home to the new home. The move was done very quickly and actually came in under the quote - who ever heard of that before? Everything was handled with care and no damage to any items. I do recommend that you follow their preparation checklist so that you are ready to go the day of the move. Thanks Moveworks for a great move.
