3/10

Edited on Dec 15, 2022: Lead installers Jim and Allen came by on Nov 16. Unfortunately wrong replacement was ordered so they couldn't complete the job as it was the incorrect windo. Both Jim and Allen were very professional and apologetic. Jerry called right away and asked me to update the review as he has been trying. I told him I am a fair person and it shall be updated once the issue is resolved. His tone of voice became abrupt and frankly, threatening after he learned that I am unwilling to update this truthful, negative review. I was told that he has done what he could for now and the replacement window may or may not come in until 2023. Finaly, on Dec 15, after waiting for 10 months, finally got the cracked window replaced. Kyle and his colleague were efficient and professional. Very happy that the issue is finally resolved and no further communication will be needed with the owner of Brockville branch. Final summary: Kyle on Dec 15 confirmed that the cracked window glass was a bit loose. This may have been the reason why it was defective 2,3 months after initial install. No issues with installers at all but did not appreciate communication with Jerry since trying to get this replaced in Feb 2022. Hopefully I'll never have to deal with Clear Windows again. I stand by my truthful review as of today. Edited on Nov 2, 2022: Our experience with Clera Windows was satisfactory prior to full payment to replace 16 windows in 2021. Jerry the manager at Brockville location came by twice for the consultation and measurements back in March 2021 and provided us with a quote. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and I genuinely did not feel like he was trying to upsell the products. He provided amazing recommendations and it's exactly what we wanted. We just had our windows (all 16 of them) installed by Allen and Wyatt in a span of two days in November 2021. Installers were super friendly, efficient and professional. They took their time and make sure everything was done right and cleaned up the job site in the dark. We definitely loved the Installers. One criticism is the paperwork. We did not receive a detailed invoice. Please note this is required if you want to be reimbursed from NRCan for the Greener Homes program. I mentioned it to Jerry after we made the full payment right after installation. I never thought it would be that difficult to obtain a detailed invoice after paying over $15000. I have had to text Jerry numerous times to no avail. I ended up calling and email a different location so that they'd intervened. Then I finally heard back from Jerry and all he did was scribbled on the original paper. It was sad. This complicated my NRCan application and delayed my refund. 3,4 months after the installation, one of the windows cracked and we reached out to Jerry immediately to have it replaced. It has been over 8,9 months and we have not heard back on when to expect it. We also wanted to have weatherstripping on two of our doors. We followed up via phone calls and texts. They have been unanswered for 3 weeks now. It's truly sad to say that this is the customer service after you've paid in full. It should not be this way. My husband works in the trades so we are very understanding but now we feel like we are being taken advantage of. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE. If you're thinking of getting your windows done by Clera Windows. Think again!
